Can’t open messages from buyers

My messages from buyers (and eBay) won’t open. My messages page looks different. I can see the header/subject, but when I click on it, it won’t open. Anyone else?

The eBay message inbox page seems to be opening correctly for me.

Try another browser to rule out a browser issue. Or a private or incognito browser window.

Try viewing your messages on ebay.ca instead of ebay.com.

Try viewing your messages in the eBay app.

If you have your eBay messages from members forwarded to an email address, you should be able to read those messages in your email inbox, and respond by responding to the email directly.

I am having the exact same issue. I contacted eBay … they were unaware of any issues… I directed them to come vrs here and they have opened a ticket on the issue. At the moment my messages are still not opening. This same issue happened about a month ago.

Same exact thing happening for me. Very frustrating I need to reply to several messages.

I am having the same problem.  I also cannot pull up my auction listings separate for my other listings.   There appears some kind of  problem with Ebay's system.

Tried ebay.ca tried other browsers all the same thing. I do get the messages in my email but when I click reply it does the same thing. Different looking messages page and can't touch/click anything

If you are using a mobile browser, can you see your messages if you tap the left facing arrow in the box in the upper left of your Message page where it says "Messages" at the top?

Edited to add: looking further, the messages have stopped opening when tapping excerpts there.

I can still read messages using the eBay app, though. Or using a desktop browser. Just not with a mobile browser.

Came here to say the same is happening to my account.  My only option is to delete, mark as read, mark unread, archive or place in my Folder 1.  Looks like some more testing maybe.  Right now impossible to reply

Impossible to open and reply to messages!

A lot of people are having problems with messages. Click the ? icon on the lower right of the page, then near the bottom of that pop up select the option to file a tech report. (If on the app you can shake to report.) The more people reporting, the higher priority it gets from eBay.

In the meantime, you may have luck using the app instead of a browser or vice versa.
