I have not experienced that or seen anything like that mentioned on any of the boards.
Which page or pages are you looking at?
Have you tried another browser? If another browser loads the page correctly, go back to your first browser. Restart the browser and try again. If that does not help try clearing your cache or temporary internet files. If that still does not help, try deleting your eBay cookies.

I see you are registered in the Netherlands. What page are you looking at? Could you describe what you are seeing?

for example as you see this item for sell, when the page is loaded the pics are only black

I am able to see the pictures in the listing you linked in Firefox -- though I notice that the gallery is set up in an odd way; only one photo appears at the top, but many photos appear in the body of the listing. I am not sure how many, but certainly many more than twelve. It may be that the odd layout of the page is causing problems for your browser. Try another browser to see if that improves things.
Here is the same item, on the US site:

The photos in that listing, when viewed in the eBay app, appear to load correctly for me.

When viewing in Chrome, there is a Black Screen in the listing description area. My description, measurements, and detail photos cannot be viewed. Again, this is in Chrome-- which I prefer to use. When viewing the listings using Edge or the ebay app on my phone the listing is normal.
I have restarted the browser, cleared the cache and cookies, even removed and re-installed Chrome. Still the Black Screen in my listing description.
When I view one of your items in Chrome or Firefox, I can see your description, but it is confined inside a small box with a vertical scroll bar, so that I cannot see all of even one of your photos, unless I use the gallery at the top of the listing.
Descriptions that contain photos arranged vertically seem to be a common factor in these cases. Some browsers may not be handling them well.

When I scroll down to look at the stamps in a collection, I just get a black screen instead of the scans. This just started recently. I have noticed this on dealers like Noblespirit and CKstamps. What is causing this?
It is possible that some recent change in eBay or your browser is causing a problem for certain listings, particularly if they have many photos in the description of the item. It might be worth trying another browser to see if that looks any different.
In the case of CKstamps, the listing I looked at actually had a black rectangle in the description containing multicolored text. See if you can highlight the rectangle with your mouse to reveal any text. Noblespirit's listing I checked looked fine to me in Firefox, Edge and Chrome.

Thanks! I have verified that I see a black screen inside the description frame when using Chrome 76 on this machine. It is possible that when I tested the links yesterday I was using an older version which does not have that flaw.
Hopefully Chrome will address this issue soon; in the mean time the workaround seems to be either downgrade to Chrome version 75 or switch to a different browser when the issue is encountered.

yes downgrade is also a possibility
https://www.slimjet.com/chrome/google-chrome-old-version.php
only have to put off googleupdate(with msconfig&services)cause it will be auto updated to this version again.

YES...getting the same thing on several of my listings, both old and new, but only when viewing via CHROME, does not do it on FIREFOX....any fixes?? Anyone???
08-22-2019 05:46 PM
The problem appears to only occur when using the latest Chrome version (76). Earlier versions or other browsers do not have this problem.

Any idea how I revert to the old version? AND..what about buyers having the same issue? That's who I'm really concerned about, as I can go to Firefox and see the listings...
