For the last week, I have not been able to make any price changes to any item with variations! This is killing me! I get 4-5 error messages for every single listing with variations:

Please fix the following errors:

Duplicate variation specifics
Missing name in name-value list.
Quantity is not valid for an item with variations
Quantity is not valid.
The UPC field is missing.

There is NOTHING wrong with these listings (all have UPC, all have quantity, no duplicates, etc.) and the bulk editor has always worked, up until about a week ago! I cannot change 300+ listings manually. Please fix this eBay.

Bump, this is still not working. For anyone dealing with trying to update quantities I suggest using the eBay File Exchange in the meantime. Otherwise its manually updating each listing. 😞

This is fine advice, but my issues with FE as a work-around:

* eBay is constantly tweaking their listing criteria, so a file that uploads just fine one day will fail the next, and figuring out why a file failed (like, minor change to field name required because the category moved) can be a bigger time sink than listing individually.

* Since the www editor hasn't always been broken, my price/quantity data will only be in sync if I update it in my FE files as I update it on the www, which is duplicating work.

* When the eBay rep asks how you got a product online, you get as far as saying "File Exch..." before they transfer you to the tools department (which then says "why are you talking to me???")

In spite of the .com in their name, eBay is really just a marketing company with a few programmers that haven't been able to find other employment in the valley. Everything you see dysfunctional about this company is explained by "this is what happens when you let MarCom run a corporation."

Anyone had any luck with a fix to this problem? Iv got 1800 multi variation listings that have need a price change and dont have the time to do them all individually.

Worst problm iv ever had on ebay.

Per Geoffrey Mason: Still not working on 9/26. Tried to bulk edit and ebay posted wrong info. Had to re-do more than 60 listings manually. Wanted seven-day BIN listings, but ebay made them 30-day! Then the system wouldn't let me edit the price.

The problem it seems is that the bulk editing tool is not importing the variations UPC & Quantity correctly. When I click "edit listing" for a single listing the UPC and Quantity display correctly, but when I click "Variations [edit]" inside the bulk editor then the UPC and quantity fields are all jumbled. For example, the UPC is blank, or UPC is being moved over to the SKU field, Quantity being moved over to the UPC field, etc.

Problem began for me yesterday. Called eBay this morning and was told it is site wide. Rep said the techs are working on it and should have it fixed by Oct. 15. That's 10 frickin days!!

1st time I have encountered this personally, I can't RELIST ANYTHING in bulk, I am only doing 5 at a time. A NEW BOX I have never seen before keeps popping up saying there is something wrong with ALL my listings. Really I have been doing this for 6 years, there is nothing wrong with my listings. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM ASAP!
