Action Service Framework Error

Anyone know how to resolve this error when listing:

It looks like there's a problem with this listing.

The job context object is not supported by Action Service Framework.

Re: Action Service Framework Error

I'm having the same issue (since yesterday).  I just spoke with someone and they don't seem to have any idea what I'm talking about.

I just want to say. Thank God I'm not alone. Support is totally clueless. Two days, I can't list anything.  Same error. Hope we can get some help.

Re: Action Service Framework Error

It looks like this is affecting store owners who are trying to post listings from store inventory.  Correct? Using Selling Manager Pro? This might be an Advanced Apps Team issue. @mypaymentstest

Re: Action Service Framework Error

@mr.amherst  reports on this thread on 5/24:

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Seller-Hub/LISTINGS-PROBLEM/m-p/29852162

"I called Ebay this morning. It is a high priority bug which is hitting numerous sellers. They are working on it and do not know when it will be fixed. I will use your "work around" advice until it is fixed."

The workaround advice from @twoietiger  is:

"I redid the listings from scratch and got them to load. Time consuming and annoying! Thanks for reply."

Re: Action Service Framework Error

Well you did better than me. My "support" guy told me I was the only one having this problem and that it must be my computer..he also told me to use Turbolister.....which is no longer supported and can't be downloaded. I think his help script needs an update!

Re: Action Service Framework Error

@reachstars  reports this workaround:

The "Duplicate As" function works like the "Sell Similar" does for an Active Listing. You can edit if necessary and then the item will list with no problem.

I can confirm this workaround is doing the trick for me. Spent a lot of time banging my head against the keyboard this morning before finding this.
BTW is there an area where bugs like this are announced as known issues and or somewhere that they will post when the bug is fixed?

Re: Action Service Framework Error

Thank you! I figured that out on Friday- but am I correct that I have to then manually find it in live listings and then save it to inventory? I had never used that feature until Friday when I had no choice!

""Am I correct that I have to then manually find it in live listings and then save it to inventory"".

Yes that's correct.

But if you do that the Inventory it will show 0 Items For Sale.

If you have a lot of items in your inventory it will soon get confusing about which items are listed / active and available for sale.

To solve this-

1) Save the new product to the inventory
2) End the ACTIVE listing.
3) Then re-list from the inventory.

The inventory will then show the quantity of items for sale.

You should make sure the template is exactly as you want it before relisting. Once you list it you have to make any changes to the ACTIVE Item, then make the SAME changes to the INVENTORY TEMPLATE.

There appears to be no more sync between active items and the template.

Painful.

Re: Action Service Framework Error

I experienced the same error message yesterday and today. It happens when I duplicate an item in my inventory and then edit it for a similar item. I called Ebay and the answers were poor at best. The system is seeing the listing as already listed even though my intention is to create a similar item but in a different color or size for instance. Agent told me to go to the active listing I want to duplicate and click on Sell Similar instead. It works ok but then I have no product in my inventory...basically a mess. i intend to call again tomorrow for hopefully a better answer.  I have sold here for 16 years now and have never seen this message and the agent couldn't identify it either...NO SURPRISE!
