Hi! I struggled with an ERROR Message that I kept getting when trying to save my automated payment method information to my eBay account for the last 3 days, 5 calls to eBay support, and numerous attempts using different browsers, different cards and double checking that my address matched both my card and my eBay account, all to no avail. All I got was a FATAL ERROR Message.
eBay CS said that they are aware of the tech issue and that it has been assigned priority status and that the work is in progress but no estimate as to when it might be fixed.
BUT in desperation I figured out a work-around today!!! The system won't let you save your automated payment method to your account. That's where the FATAL ERROR message appears. And without your payment method on file you can't list.
So go to your account and select 'MAKE A ONE TIME PAYMENT' using the card that you want to hold on file as your automated payment method. After inputting your card info select the amount that you want to pay as a one time only payment (I chose $1.) Then at the bottom of the page there is a box that you can check to save your card information. Do that and then click submit. It saved my card info, it charged my card $1 and I'm ready to list again!
