200 listing Delisted From eBay Search Results... Internal Traffic Down... Sales Down 57%

The quick backstory:

Around the first week of September, we were hit with a copyright violation and our items were delisted from the eBay search for three days. We contacted eBay and asked if there was a way to appeal as we didn't agree with the violation and they stated no, there is nothing that can be done, your listing will be active again after the three day suspension. 

After the three day suspension, we noticed our eBay listing still was not showing up so we contacted eBay, in fact we contacted eBay three times about the situation. Here is what we have been told:

The first call with eBay seller support came in early September, around the 10th. They informed us that our listing not showing up was a technical issue and they would send it over to the technical department to get fixed within 72 hours. 

The second call was made around the 15th of September and again they informed us that it was a technical issue, apologized and informed us that the issue would be fixed within 72 hours. 

The third call was at the end of September around the 25th and this time, eBay seller support informed us that there is nothing they can do, we will need to end all of our listing, close the account, and open up another account.

Yes, in various forms.............. Great video, by the way........certainly shows the problems....

Usually, what is reported is the store # of listings or the listings view your items # being incorrect and varying with refreshes....various guesses have been made as to the problem.......such as server problems, but nothing definitive from Ebay about the cause.......  Usually clears up in a couple of days.....

Two things I'd try....

Doing a bulk revision of all items..........that should require a system refresh

Try putting PL on all listings........that may do the same, but with a priority change (non technical term because I can't figure out what I mean).........

If those don't work (and I don't have much hope)..........Contact Ebay for Business on Facebook....read the rules and send them a private message with a link to this page/video.  The ebay employees there are usually pretty good about responding and helping...........

well was the take down a VERO or copyright issue??

If so those listings of the violation are gone.

Oh and the ding from that will drop you in ratings for da search as well, though since the new item specifics its all messed up.. even a bit prior to that......

Though now days its the pay to play game with key words and promotions:  if you did not know that part......

Thanks for the feedback, I have reached out to eBay for business and Griff sent me a reply via email. he stated that he has never seen this issue before and does not have a solution but will be forwarding this issue to someone that may be able to help. He also said to not delete listing or close account. Hopefully this issue is dealt with ASAP 🙂

It was taken down as a copyright violation even though we are the creators of the product, that is why we wanted to appeal but eBay support stated there was nothing that can be done to appeal it. 

Yes we understand about promotions and hopefully can get the issue fixed so we can continue with using our account.  Right now nothing is being indexed so its pointless to use the promotions.

Glad to hear you got some real help, lol.  Griff doesn't frequent these boards too much........but I can assure this has happened before (or at least something very near it), so perhaps the fix will be quick.  If you hear anything about the cause, it would be good to post........so if happens to someone else, we will have the information.  Good Luck!!!

Totally agree, planning on making a video about what happened, what I did to try and fix it and finally how it got resolved. It has been a crazy 35 days going into the 4th quarter.
