Our eBay managed payments have been working fine for months, and we got an email that our bank "declined" a payout from them on December 2nd. After confirming this did not happen from my bank, I tried to call customer service and that service is "unavailable at this time".
I don't see any announcements, and Seller comments on this are being taken down as fast as they are posted. I know this is a fairly new process for them, but they need to fix it FAST.

When will they retry to send payment again? I'm glad it's not me but if ebay is requiring me to switch over to this method, they should have all this worked out BEFORE requiring it.

Same thing with me, bank says no attempt was made. payout yesterday went through just fine. Am still waiting for ebay to call me back after it said a rep would call me in one minute. That was almost an hour ago. Here we go again!

Has anyone reached out to ebay on the phone to sort this out? Seems like this has ruffled a lot of feathers and caused a lot of chirping, but no substantive postings.
This does seem to be a glitch, I received payout early morning 12/1 without a problem, but received the dreaded message early 12/2 saying that the 12/2 payment didn't go through. Hopefully they'll get it sorted out soon.
If anyone does actually speak to a CSR please post what the problem is and a possible ETA for fixing this.
As long as this doesn't mess things up from a purchasing standpoint, sellers may be inconvenienced, but we should get paid soon. If the glitch is preventing buyers from purchasing, then this is really bad.

I got the message too, called my bank there's no record of it actually hitting the bank. Def on eBay, hoping they retry again soon. Not happy with these managed payments so far.

Yes..... EXACT same issues here! I just want my payouts to go through PayPal again! I never had a problem! It takes way too long to get payouts through eBay and I'm sure with the payments being "held" a few days, interest is being earned on their end... so there's that benefit to eBay! Sellers on the other hand face issues like this AND delays. At least I could instantly use the money on PayPal.

Looks like ebay is aware. There is a banner message on the Customer Service page that says "Some sellers may notice a delay with payments being available in their eBay account. We're looking into the issue and will have it fixed soon."

When something like this happens, just check the EBay systems update board. They are aware of the problem and it states:

I think if we all do not get our money by tomorrow we should get a team together to contact a lawyer for a class action. Who is in with me?

happened to me too.

Happened to me as well. After contacting my bank, trying to call eBay and realizing the number I always used to contact them before has been discontinued, chatting with the assistant (which was of no use at all), I learned that it was a problem on eBay's end from this discussion board.
Knowing about checking the system update is nice. Thanks to the seller who posted that info. However, if eBay has this large of an issue with their payout system, it would not have hurt them to put out some sort of blast to affected sellers via eBay messages.

So far my experience is that their "live chat" and email system is worthless. Good luck getting a real response from them, ever. Then eBay has the nerve to say "call your bank" when they know good and well THEY are the problem and there's no way to actually call THEM to ask what's going on. I don't trust banks much either, but at least you can phone them if you have a problem. If you are going to act like a bank, then there should be a law stating you have to function like a bank and at least have a working customer service phone system. Of course in the good ol' USA, I don't think there is such a law, otherwise eBay wouldn't be getting away with it...

I just checked and still no info on my sell with the payout. No email when it will be processed to my bank, really I can't believe I got suckered in on this payout system that dose not work.
