Our eBay managed payments have been working fine for months, and we got an email that our bank "declined" a payout from them on December 2nd. After confirming this did not happen from my bank, I tried to call customer service and that service is "unavailable at this time".
I don't see any announcements, and Seller comments on this are being taken down as fast as they are posted. I know this is a fairly new process for them, but they need to fix it FAST.

I just got the same message. Called my bank. They had no idea what the problem was. So frustrating.

I received same exact email December 2, 2020 and all my prior payments went through, no change on bank account and no way to contact eBay about this.

Mine didn't go through either. Crazy everyone's banks would have this issue on the same day, surely it's not an ebay problem.

We received the same email. Our bank account is just fine. The problem is at eBay. Now Customer Service is down... Chat is down... and there are no other timely options available to facilitate communication. This is a disastrous development that absolutely destroys confidence in eBay's ability to manage its own site. So when there is a major problem... don't post a notice for sellers explaining that eBay is aware of the problem. Just shut down ALL communication as if sellers aren't worthy of accurate information. We get the message... loud & clear.

Same thing happened with me, December 2nd... I really don't like how they present the issue: declined, check with your bank... This is eBay, not my bank.

Add me to the list of not getting my payout also. Says it was declined and try to call ebay and can't get through on the phone.

That's a good one..they mass email everyone and tell them.." Check your Bank"..when the whole time..
They know it's an issue with EBAY itself...and i noticed that i can't contact Customer Service by chat or phone..and that the Feedback isn't working as well...
So Ebay needs to OWN UP to the issue and stop blaming " Your Bank"..it's Ebay..
And let's hope we all get a proper explanation of why and what happened here today on Dec 2, 2020...

All communication with eBay seems shut off by eBay. All I can get from their chat is: Once you’ve updated your bank details in the Payments tab in Seller Hub, we’ll verify your account within 2 business days. Once your account is verified, we’ll send you a confirmation email, and we’ll start sending your payouts to your new bank account.

Same thing happened to me. The most frustrating part about all of this is that there is no way of getting in touch with anyone at eBay. What kind of company doesn't have customer service by phone? It is absolutely unbelievable.

I too got the message and spent half an hour on the phone with my bank only to be told you might want to check with Ebay. All very well and good but there is NO way to contact them! I am dependent on that money and this is frustrating as H-E-DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS!!!!! What a POOR time of year to roll this out. Go back to the pay pal like it was. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
