ebays new ploy with managed payments will discourge sellers and ebay will eventually go down!!!!

I'm unsure as to why some posters consider Ebay "greedy" for wanting to make a profit.  They are after all a for profit company.  And to my knowledge every single seller on Ebay is likely here to make a profit.  So would that not make us all "greedy".  I know to earn money is why I started my business.  I'd venture a guess that is likely why a whole lot of others did the same thing.

I don't like the way MP processes a buyer's payment anymore than many other posters.  I can deal with it, but I don't like it.  Hopefully in the near future this process will improve.

I do weekly deposits and that helps as I don't watch the day to day stuff and get anxious about when something is going to clear and get transferred.  My transfers happen every Tuesday morning and the deposit it recorded at my bank before noon on Wednesdays.  I do bank with a major bank.  

That is not to take away from the significant issue for many sellers that want Daily Deposits.  MP only does them on Business days which creates a host of problems for some sellers that run an extremely tight cash flow.  I respect that.

Ebay has told us for more than 2 years we were going into MP by the end of 2020 so if you were surprised by this move, I'm unsure as to why.

So your telling me you think its ok for ebay to hang on to your money for a week before they transfer your money to you  WOW  ebay is really loving you also, i don't care how long mp been in the works it's new to me and every other seller who has to do it.  You may be ok with ebay using your money but i'm not!!!

They may have told us for a couple years that they were going to mp and they also said it was going to be better for sellers i would like to know how it's better for us  i  certainly know how it's better for ebay

The only "opt out" is to stop selling.

MP is the required way. PP is leaving as the funds processor.

Ive been waiting now because they dont deposite on holidays or weekends and only one time daily and only the money rhey approved so far not pending...then 1q to 4 days "bank to process" well my bank processed laypal instantly no 4 day additioknal wait...ive been waiting a week to get not even 1/10th of what has been paid. How do i ship with no paymednts. Can i opt out of this program...it stinks bad.

This will push me off ebay i wont have a choice i cant afford this. I guess they need to change expected shipping instead of 5 days to 15 days to ship, awaiting ebay to manage your payment

Then the buyer will have to wait, then they will want refunds or to cancel...of course ebay refunds everything no matter what ....this will sink me. The payouts should be all day as the payments are processed...what was their development team thinking??? And 4 days for bznk to process what is that about..it wasnt like that before and my bank hasnt changed.

On my label page , if I scroll down, I have the choice to select PP, or "pending funds" to pay for the labels for the items where eBay has "confirmed" the buyer payment
