My net profit have gone down and my payment takes days to be in my bank account. The new plan charges sellers a big whooping 12.5% fee from the total taxes and shipping a buyer already paid. Anyways i have not had a chance to contact ebay support but would check back here if anyone knows.

No, there's no way to "revert back" from Managed Payments. All sellers will be transitioned into Managed Payments, and PayPal will no longer be an option as a payment processor.
There's no point in contacting eBay's customer support representatives.

Between eBay and PayPal, the old plan charged 12.9%

The only way is to revert back from being an ebay seller.

Reading the fine print would not have changed your options.

yes but that 12.9% did no deduct from paid taxes and shipping. only on the sale price. my profit was bigger. paypal charged only 2.9% on taxes but not on shipping. ebay did not profit off sales taxes as they are doing now.

The fees charged in MP couldn't be having that big of an effect on your profits. You paid 10% to Ebay before in FVFs and 2.9% to PP plus a 30 cent transaction fee. That totals 12.9% + 30 cents.
In MP you pay 12.35% + 30 cent transaction fee.
Sales tax is a max of about 10% of your sale. So yes on that 10% or less of the total sale you are paying a higher rate of 9.45% [12.35 - 2.9% = 9.45%, we paid PP fees on sales tax] and on the balance of 90+% of the sale you are paying a lower rate by 0.55%. In most cases this will likely result in a neutral change.

except you're conveniently disregarding the 12.35% of shipping costs as well.
my profits were bigger on the older system, do i need to write up an example for you?

I wonder if the 12.35% is also calculated for the 4.3% addition for currency conversion? Was that part of the 'stream-lined' aspect?

No I'm not. You might want to read what I wrote a bit closer.
We have paid FVFs on S&H for over decade now. You paid it before MP and you pay it now. And FVFs have NEVER been charged on "shipping costs", it is charged on the amount that the buyer pays you for S&H.
You are looking at your numbers wrong. IDK why, but you are.

NO. But then that isn't something that any US seller selling their stuff on the US site has to worry about since buyers from wherever their account is from has to pay with US funds on a US listing. This is just not a concern for sellers selling on the US site.
Now if you are a US seller that actually lists their listings on another one of the international Ebay sites, then conversion fees will be something you will end up paying. But most of us don't do that so it isn't a factor for us.

Im well aware MP fees are charged on the amount the buyer pays for shipping and handling, dont know where your confusion came from. you may have misinterpreted my statement.
Out of my last 3 sales, 100% of them had sales taxes. I dont know where that only 10 percent of your total sales will have sales tax

Most states have a sales tax amount that is below 10% of the sale price. Some states require sales tax on S&H and some don't. But very few states have a sales tax that is above 10%. I just used 10% to be on the higher side.
And again, you need to read what I wrote a bit closer. I did NOT say " only 10 percent of your total sales will have sales tax". You are misreading stuff. Typically the amount of money you receive from your buyer will contain no more than 10% that represents sales tax. The other 90+% of the money you get it on the product and S&H.
100.00 Product price
20.00 S&H
12.00 Sales tax [10%]
132.00 Total
So the sales tax was $12 on the sale. The FVF as stated in my previous posts is the new part of this fee that we have not paid in the past. So that part is an increase to us in our costs. HOWEVER the other 120.00 of that sale is at a LOWER FVF rate by 0.55% which helps to offset the new costs of FVF on sales tax.
