With managed payments there is no no longer an option to pay using PayPal. So with most sellers waiting till they are forced to go (unless like me they had no idea that eBay could and would make such a strange decision) why would a buyer buy from me when they could go to another seller that accept PayPal? All they have to do is click the next link in their search.... My sales have dropped like a rock unless eBay takes a hand in it. Mostly promoted items sell. These buyers can come from different websites
They wont let me go back so now I just sit and wait while I watch my business slowly fades away.
Suggestions?
PS It seems Ebay will use paypal if it benefits them. I pay for my labels using paypal but not for long since ebay money no longer flows there.

The buyer can still up PayPal to pay eBay, and you through MP.
Mp has more options than you had before so you can get payed by other services also.

Buyers can pay with Paypal as usual.
From your own listing:

Certainly, that is untrue.............Buyers have the same option to pay with paypal.........look at your own listings......paypal is an accepted method of payment.

"Managed payments supports credit, debit, and gift cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and PayPal Credit"

The change Ebay is making to switch all sellers over to MP is a huge undertaking. One they have been working towards for over 2 years. Lots of chatter and discussion over the last couple of years too. Nine more than in the last 8 months or so, on the threads at least.
When Ebay emails sellers letting them know that they are moving into MP there are links to information and the facts of MP.
This is the single most important change Ebay has ever made and it goes to the core of our little businesses, our money. It is therefore important to read the information / policies on how MP works so that we can best adjust and use it the best we can. I don't understand why there have been so many sellers coming to the boards that have spent no time at all learning about this program when it is so important and controls our money. That just does not make sense to me.
As to your questions and concerns.
Buyers can still purchase using PP if they choose to when the seller is in MP. You can see this if you look at one of your listings. So you can let this concern go as your buyers are free to use PP if they want. And when a seller enters MP, buyers even get a couple of additional choices they may want to use for submitting payment.
Your drop in sales has NOTHING to do with MP. MP is a payment processing program, nothing more. It has nothing at all to do with your stuff selling. That is more likely to do with a slow down in sales for many due to the election. Normal stuff every 4 years, is my experience. This one maybe more than the normal because there is so much at stake.
Most if not all sellers will be in MP as we move forward in the next several months. So you are correct, once in MP, if you want to continue to sell on Ebay, you must remain in MP.
You have a choice when you print labels in Ebay. You can choose to have them funded by your money in MP or you can choose to pay for them with PP funds. Seller choice and you can change it at any time you want to.
If you have more questions, please ask. I does appear you are operating under some bad information, so it may help you a great deal to have the actual facts. MP may or may not work well for you. But at least if you have the actual facts you can decide for yourself what is best.

This is absolutely 100% wrong.
Log out and go to one of your own listings and see for yourself:

I know this may seem strange but most buyers really don't care so long they can pay, most of them don't even have a Paypal account, they have a credit card and paypal handles it but it matters not to them.

I buy all the time and with my paypal account. With Sellers on managed payments and those who have not been invited yet. I have not ran across any that want take paypal.

Hi @isell2quick
Buyers can still pay you using PayPal. Your listings have the PayPal logo on them as a form of payment.

It's amazing how many are signing up, without a clue of what they are signing up for.

And that is scary to me. Something as important as this and they don't take the time to learn what the heck it is about, but they are sure willing to assume.

There's a scrap of truth to this ^^^ part of your post.
Yes, you can ship through your PayPal account with eBay labels. When your PayPal balance is at zero, the payments will pull from your attached bank account, or you can opt to use a credit card from your PayPal wallet. I've had a zero PayPal balance since I opted in a year ago, but still buy labels with PayPal.
Another option, of course, is to pull the label costs from your Pending sales. Choose your poison at the bottom of the Label page. Your choice will become your new default.
Good luck.

I called bay and asked after i went looking, (again on the boards) and they posted pics of an auction and it said "Looking for paypal?" however maybe this is where the confusion lies
"EBay announced today that it will stop working with PayPal as its back-end payments service in 2020 and will start to move a small percentage of its payments volume to a new partner later this year. ... But Adyen will become the primary payments processor for eBay sites across the world"
Now that sound like just the payment processor.. Hopefully that is all
Currently my bigger problem is I can not purchase a label. No money in paypal since they stopped sending it there and no money I can use in payments. I sweep the money daily. So until something happens I wait to ship.
