Weekly Payouts Schedule

I'm on weekly payouts, and according to the choices for how I want to be paid out, the weekly payouts are on Tuesdays.

I just logged into my Payments page and it says the next payout is Monday May 22.

What's happened that made it become Monday all of a sudden? I checked to see that I wasn't switched to daily, sure enough, it says weekly and that it happens on Tuesdays.

This wouldn't be very important and I'd just wait and see, but there's a ton of stuff sitting in processing that's supposed to be available Monday, so if the payout happens Monday (which I get notification of around 8am, before that day's funds are available), then I'll miss out on a significant part of my revenue this weekend.

The benefit of a Tuesday payout, is that all that Saturday and Sunday stuff that happens clears on Monday, before the Tuesday payout happens.

Ah, I tend to miss announcements...

I guess I'll have to get used to the new way things are done. I just messaged the store to tell him the funds sitting in pending for this weekend's sales won't clear in time for the payout.  We had a system where I'd log everything that would clear for the payout and remit their share based on that, but looks like funds will sit in pending a bit too long to get them in the weekly payout. (Being that the sales are Saturday and Sunday).

I'm on monthly payouts and for the last two months it has shown my payout was scheduled for Monday but both times it was not paid out until Tuesday and was in my bank Wednesday morning.   When I look at my previous payouts it is showing the date of my last payout as Thursday, May 4th when the payout was actually done on Tuesday, May 2nd.   The dates are all messed up.

I noticed that on mine a couple weeks ago, but I'm still getting my payouts on Tuesday so far.  I looked around and I can't seem to find the announcement mentioned earlier.

Confirming what others have said, my payouts are still on Tuesdays, but the notices have been incorrectly telling me Monday. I assume it is just a glitch. Been this way for at least a few weeks now.

This is from the eBay payout schedule page.  Nothing has been updated there.  It still shows Tuesday as the payout day:

By default, payouts are initiated daily, but you can also change to weekly, biweekly or monthly payouts.

• Daily payouts are initiated Monday through Sunday and include any funds that have become Available for payout during the previous 24 hours
• Weekly payouts are initiated on Tuesdays and include any funds that have become Available for payout Monday through Sunday of the previous week
• Biweekly payouts are initiated every second Tuesday and include any funds that have become available for payout on Monday from the last two weeks
• Monthly payouts are initiated on the first Tuesday of every month, and include any funds that have become available for payout on Monday from the previous month

I'm curious about when this announcement states this is to start.  My payment tab has stated Monday for several weeks now, but I'm still getting them on Tuesday and they include the weekend payments.  I still can't find the announcement.

Don't know; just know I seen it mentioned on a few threads couple months ago.

In the future if you are concerned about a "weekly" payment date change (for payments not cleared by Monday), and in case it actually does happen , just switch to "Daily" for a day to get those payouts $$ back in line.

Less than a minute to change to "Daily", and then less than a minute to change back to "Weekly".

I have been seeing the same thing.

It says Monday but doesn't take any money until early Tuesday morning.

On the scale of glitches, this seems to be a minor one.

Do you have a link to that announcement @stainlessenginecovers ? That news would be surprising to me since Mondays are sometimes bank holidays, plus weekly payouts on Tuesdays mean sellers see (often higher volume) weekend payments in that Tuesday payout.

A few weeks ago devon@ebay reported the display issue (Monday instead of Tuesday) to the Payments team and didn't indicate this was an intentional change.

@wastingtime101 I don't' have a link and that thread you posted was probably what I saw. Since I do daily and don't want to change anything since it might simply mess something up, so I really didn't 'delve' into that thread any further than you did. 

I guess it was a glitch?

BTW, the payout came today (Tuesday).

I guess it was just a glitch... if they keep coming Tuesday with no interruptions, I'll just leave it alone... if I miss a payout, I'll switch to daily to get it. One week's sales is significant (and we only don't do daily because of bank fees), so I don't want to miss any payouts.

Yeah, it's just a display error that's been going on for a few weeks @sin-n-dex.

I generally don't care which post is picked as a "best answer," but in this case I'd suggest de-selecting the one you chose since there was no change to Mondays. That way others finding this discussion aren't confused by that info.
