Purchase of a tractor through e-bay

I am attempting to purchase a tractor through e-bay. I received an e-mail with directions on how to pay through "Vanilla Visa". Is this legitimate? I've not been asked to pay this way in the past.

I've bought many things at Ebay. Suddenly it's impossible to sign in I am not a robot!!!

Even a message to prove that I'm not a robot is impossible to sign in to. Also I have to add a phone just in case somerthing would go wrong. In all these years nothing ever went wrong. This is terrible!
