I thought I was paying the seller and the order was paid until I checked m

 email and it said to pay the seller with a certain eBay name. I had already paid so I’m not sure who I paid or what i  bought.  It looked correct until I checked my email and it made me think that I had not paid for the item I won the bid for.

You should be looking in "My Ebay".   You can see in Purchase History if you paid correctly.

Possibly you paid while eBay's system cross-messaged a payment reminder that you saw in your email. Hmmm... 🤔
