MP and change of account currency

Well, our transition to managed payments was very bumpy ride, but this is a different story. One that is hard to swallow/unfair is something you simply don't do to your partners (sellers). Here is our example. We don't have local eBay site and I'm selling on eBay.com (only!) for almost 20 years now. Since ever we had billing/selling account in USD. But, MP process changed this to EUR. Without our will or knowledge. And without real sense. EUR is not our local currency and is not the currency in which we will receive money to our bank account. So how and why would process do it by itself? Just because we are in Europe? Many European countries are not in Euro Zone, so for us EUR is same like USD, a foreign currency. But to make things worse, change done by this process counts towards OUR ability to change account currency once a year. So, not only did the system do something against our will, but it also counts it as WE did it, against our own will! How is this possible?

Is it possible that this is only because of 3% currency conversion fees? In our case USD from our sold items (in USD) will be converted to EUR and we will be charged 3% for that. So conversion will happen between two foreign currencies for us and then one more time with payout to our bank account in third currency? So instead of (what would be fair) to keep our account as it was, in USD and transfer USDs to our bank account here (which can take it) system is now forcing 2 (TWO) currency conversions, with 3% charge each (amounting to extra 6%! charge) just to get money to our back account? Is this real?

I'm top rated seller for many years, we do everything possible to make every buyer happy and to have only positive experience from buying on eBay and then we get this treatment from our partner?

Please don't tell me to contact customer support, can't do this any more, received 4-5 answers which are completely useless, semi-bot copy/paste answers without real answer why is my account currency changed to EUR and why did this block our ability to change (back) account currency

Hope somebody from eBay who can help is reading these boards!

I have the same issue. I am selling from Norway on Ebay.com. The sale is made in USD. The payments get converted to EUR. And then the payments gets converted again from EUR to NOK when transferred to my bank account.  Why cant Ebay just transfer the payment in USD?

I am from Sweden with the same problem! I sold an item this week for 300 USD and eBay paid me 167 EUR. Can you believe this? And then there will be another conversion from EUR to SEK and I will lose more than 50% of my sale. SHAME ON EBAY!
