Did you mean:

Payouts are on hold until bank verification.

So in September I needed to verify my bank, I did do using  microdeposits to my bank,  ebay told me later that they had verified my bank details so all good.

Now I have money on hold from a sale. They say I need to verify my bank again, saying that the statement needs to show my name and address, transactions and bank logo.  I have all these but they're not all on one page together. My name and address and transactions are on one page but not with the bank logo, the logo is on another one.

I uploaded two docs / pics but ebay won't accept them.

It's unbelievable!!

Thanks.

So fold them together into one page. Most verification is done by bots, not someone looking at the info.

Thanks for the reply  jda06121,  I'll try that.  I actually thought about dragging the logo from one pdf and putting it on the other.

Thanks.

Re: Payouts are on hold until bank verification.

I am having the same issue, but I've sent them the correct information 3 times with rejections every time and mine is all on the same page. In my bank statements, I have blacked out everything besides the eBay transactions, which I do not believe eBay needs, nor should they be requesting any private transaction information from outside of eBay. There is no reason they would need any other information other than their own transactions.  In my response to them, I uploaded their requested documents, which included my driver's license and a bank statement with their requested info:

1. name and address of account owner

2. bank name

3. transaction details (everything eBay related)

4. last 4 digits of bank account number

5. less than 3 months old (It is for Oct 2021).

I'm not sure why this is happening or why it keeps getting rejected. I've called and spoken with 3 different people with no resolution other than I "just have to wait", where I wait and then get the same rejected message 24 hours later stating they need these same exact things that I've already sent. The only thing I can assume at this point is that eBay wants to hold on to that money because they are gaining interest on it every day.

I'm ready to close my account and go elsewhere. They've been losing sellers and buyers left and right, especially since the last update.

Re: Payouts are on hold until bank verification.

1. Does your name match exactly on all the documents and your eBay account?

2. Did you send the correct doc type? Ayden only accept certain ones.

3. Is all of the info very legible. This is done by bots, not people.

4. You can't block out part of your bank account if you want them to do a match.

5. EBay doesn't have your money, Ayden does.

Re: Payouts are on hold until bank verification.

They hit me with this **bleep** as well.  So far I have uploaded everything today is the 3rd day and no response yet.  I blanked out all my transaction details.  I agree eBay has no right or reason to see my purchase history outside of eBay.  Been on eBay 13 years both as a buyer and seller.  Even after I confirmed my bank account with micro-transactions which is the same account that has been linked to my PayPal for years.

Whoever has our money needs to verify and give what is ours.  They don't pay interest yet they are accruing interest left and right off of our money while holding it.  Honestly holding our money should be considered as theft.

If there was another outlet that wasn't eBay I would move on cause this is just ridiculous.

Re: Payouts are on hold until bank verification.

I also find it funny that I regularly purchase $500-800 items and have never once been asked to verify but when it comes time to give me what is "mine" they throw a fit.

And yes before anyone comments was it in color yes scanned at 600dpi 24bit color.  Both front and back of my DL.  Front and Back of my business tax license.  Copy of utility bill voucher.  Front page of my bank statement which has the bank name and bank logo and my name address last 4 digits of account number and a summary of money in and out all transactions were on other pages and those were not scanned.  All were uploaded in PDF with my digital signature.  All were uploaded to the correct option and were less then 5mb each.

Ebay has addressed this many times.  They do not earn interest on held funds.  You can see this statement on the policy pages that describes the fees for the site as well as in other places.

PayPal never allowed you to "earn interest" either, nor does Ebay.

No other similar site that I'm aware of does as you suggest.  They don't earn interest on held funds nor to they offer interest payments to the seller.

You do realize that being a buyer is completely different from being a seller, right?

With a buyer, the funding source they are using is verified EACH time they make a transaction on Ebay.

Re: Payouts are on hold until bank verification.

You to, I thought it was just me. It has been 12 months and they're still playing games, I have been selling for 13 years and all of a sudden these clowns making these ridiculous decisions about your funds and not paying is unacceptable. You cannot even close your account, but I've taken all my products down because I'm not selling free stuff, so after multiple attempts I've decided to move to Esty and Spotify, at least they are more helpful as eBay has become a real pain and a waste of a lot of time and my client's deserved much better. eBay could care less about this and I'm sure they what there is not right.

Re: Payouts are on hold until bank verification.

It won't matter these people are playing games, I mean like HELL man you can't even get someone speaking plan English which is also a shame, all you keep getting is Thank you, but unfortunately these still won't work. I've been selling 13 years and they pull this stunt. Move to another market place and do not sell any products just take them down since you can't even close the account.

Don't waste your time with these people, you see how they hide behind chat's and so called calling you back and they have the nerve to ask you how they do in a survey. You have got to be kidding with that one.

Re: Payouts are on hold until bank verification.

I gotta tell you, attempting to steal someone's funds is not funny in the least. Good luck dealing with these people I've been trying to get my funds for a year. We'll apparently they have succeeded in stealing mine, see they try to exhaust you after you've sent verification after  verification you get tired of this bleep. Well congrats to them for successfully basically stealing mine, even though they could care less since they still have many sellers what's losing a few sellers to them, NOTHING.

@dadshobbyscapes

If Ebay has been holding your money for a year as you stated in an earlier post, why did you continue to sell stuff on Ebay until Sep. 12, 2022.  That doesn't seem like a good thing to do and just compound the problem.

I have to say, you are also the first person I've read about that Ebay has held money for that long.  Typically by the 6th month they are sending it to the state the seller is registered in to go into their unclaimed funds account.  Then the seller has to apply with their state to get the money out.

The requirements for Managed Payments are pretty simple and must be adhered to so you can get your money flowing.  Ebay has to comply with the Federal Laws.  They aren't going to go around it for anyone.

Please review the below link carefully. It contains very important information as to how Ebay needs to see the information you provide them on your account. It is likely easier to change your Ebay account to match your bank account if you find there to be a difference.
