Ebays money manage program SUCKS

Im a seller on ebay for many years ..have earned the right for my sales money to be instant...ebays so called better answer for money management ..mean i now cant sell coins..and the buyer with get the item before i even see the money..this may work for ebay..but not for me!!!!!!!

I'm on managed payments since August 31st, 2020. My overall sales are down by 40%. That's about what my International sales add up to each month. I have had return customers from several countries tell me they are having trouble checking out. Called ebay to see if they could walk me through the payment process my customers are facing now, and they said they would have to talk directly with the buyer in order to fix any issues. My customers are not going to spend their time on the phone with ebay, when they are used to just pointing and clicking in order to purchase. Today, I had a real doozie. I had a return last week. Ebay automatically approved, and put a hold on the funds for refund. I saw that the package was close to being delivered, so I opted to refund buyer early. Ebay took the funds out of my "available" funds, even though they already had a hold on the amount from last week! I just paid for a refund TWICE! Tried to call them, said I'd get a call back in 193 minutes!! What is going on here??!!!

i have some thing worse going on. i also had a return request. and yes they put an instant hold on my funds. which i never ever had an issue with getting the request done. but any ways. they put a hold on my fund. but not only that. they have a hold on all my funds period. i can't get any thing sent to my bank even though i have almost 200 in funds there. and my payments are staying in the light blue. meaning i am not receiving nothing. but also i can not print labels with my pending funds. they want to to do it through my bank funds. i did that for a few items. but my bank account is now at zero. so i can't send out my packages until they get around to fixing this problem. so am i going to lose my seller rating because of them.???. ive been told for 3 days now my funds will become available. but still nothing is. so this managed payment to me is a very bad joke i am not laughing about. ebay got payed. my buyers got their packages. but i have not seen a penny of my money.

I agree that it's a lousy system. But my problem is the opposite. I don't want a ton of little payments. It will make my taxes a real pain. I want monthly payment or payments when I choose. But, hey, ebay figures this will make them more money so we all have to suffer.

Instead of selecting daily payouts, you can select weekly payouts.

ebay has made the sellers their employees now ! That is how I see it ! I knew this mangled payment nonsense was going to be bad and I am glad I chose to not sign up. Ebay has basically hi jacked the seller and turned it into ebays business instead of the sellers. Not much different than the democratic party being hi jacked by far left wing anti American socialist ! I miss the old ebay but want no part of this new ebay ! I will still make money but I will not let ebay make anymore off of me. Maybe if enough sellers stop selling and ebay started to take some hits like they have forced the sellers to take then maybe they will take mangled payments off the table. Good luck to all that has stayed and pushed into this terrible system !!!

first anyone buying or selling online has a PayPal account ..if your buyer has a problem paying through ebay..just ask for their PayPal email..  and send them an invoice...once they pay..just mark the item paid or on ebay..i may just put a PayPal link in my description...and start taking personal checks..ebay cant manage any of that money..and for all that think they dodged a bullet by not joining..on the 1st of the year every ebayer will have ebay controlling their money

Nope. These days, PayPal is a relic of the past. More people have Venmo or Google/Apple Pay, not PayPal.

From working retail and seeing what people use to pay for their purchases. We offer PayPal as a payment option for in-store pickup orders and online orders and virtually no one uses it. 98% of people pay with a credit/debit card or Google/Apple Pay.

maybe where you work but pay pal is used widely everywhere ! I even see local yard and garage sales with post stating pay pal payments accepted !
