Can I opt out of managed payments and use paypal only

Managed payments suck. They don't send a email with the buyers info or any info for that matter. I have to search around to get the buyers shipping address. I hate this, I want to use paypal only.

@jenimiha. Sorry, No you can't opt out.  

When the item sells and eBay says it's time to ship just go to the sold item and select print shipping label from next to sold item.

You can also use pending funds to pay for your shipping labels. The option is at the bottom of the label form.

when signed up for MP, there is no turning back - for any seller... MP is not an option it is eBay's future going forward and that means PayPal will no longer be the payment processor here. Buyers will still be able to use PayPal to make purchases along with other payment options, but sellers will no longer be able to have PayPal as their payment processor. Adyen processor (eBay's Managed Payment system) & seller's banking process will now be required for sellers if they choose to continue selling on eBay.

If Paypal is gone, I am too.I have taken down all of my listings. Paypal made everything quick and easy. Now it takes 4 days to receive payment. With paypal, funds were  immediately available. Paypal also gave me quick notification, Ebay does not.  I am thinking about disassociating with ebay over this and will decide very soon. If I do stay, I will have to stop free shipping as I will not pay for shipping prior to receiving payment

@dean5242   You can extend your handling time if you are not comfortable shipping before the funds are deposited into your checking account.

You can also use pending funds to pay for your shipping labels.

Click on the order #

Page opens with info that can be copied to print the address if not using eBay labels.

Now I can’t ship an envelope via first class mail...only if I say it’s a “package” which costs triple. PayPal allowed me this option, and buyers still had a tracking #. Pay pal was the only way to do this...can’t even do it on USPS website. I want PayPal back!

I have been with eBay for 13 years and watched it go from a great place to a place where their "rising stars " are volume sellers with no morals /crooks. With this move  again it just favors those sellers who don't care how long it takes to get paid because the focus is on volume which is eBay's focus. People who had hoped to sell in retirement and collected over the years are really screwed because eBay has a monopoly in this industry and nothing has been done.

Ive been here since 2006, I remember when they started doing the 21 day hold about 10 years ago,, I dunno, I just did the MP way, I don't like it, i'm done selling... but thats what eBay wants... they want yardsellers like me gone to compete with amazon.    Thats fine, I do better on facebook anyway.

 An Ebay DISASTER    ~ ~   THE NEW SYSTEM IS RUBBISH.   I thought I'd give Ebay's new system a try.    BUT  Ebay keeps my money for days before transferring it to my bank account.   Ebay gives no information about which items it's emails refer to.    Administering sales is a nightmare now.        WORSE STILL, YOU CANNOT OPT OUT ONCE IN IT!     AVOID IT AS IF IT WAS THE PLAGUE.     An Ebay DISASTER

If you got paid in 4 days, be happy, some like me it's a week, to others it can be weeks or a month or better.  PayPal was instant for sure.
