We’ve made it easier for you to register for managed payments by introducing a new method to safely verify your bank account using microdeposits.
With this new method, eBay will make two microdeposits in unique amounts to your bank account to verify that we have the correct bank account information for you. The microdeposits will usually post to your bank account within 1-3 business days.
To identify the microdeposits, look for 2 small microdeposits in your account transaction history. Once you receive the deposits, you may return to eBay’s registration site to enter the amounts you received. Once verified, you will receive an email confirming your account. We’ll withdraw the amount of the microdeposits from your bank account typically within 3 business days.
If the amounts you enter do not match eBay’s records, you must verify your account using an alternative verification method.
In addition to microdeposits, you may also link your account directly to your seller account using eBay’s bank log-in feature.
We’re excited to be offering a simpler way for Sellers to verify their bank account for managed payments.

That is because PP is NOT a bank. Even though their debit cards are backed by Well Fargo, it does not make the PP account a Bank account.

I've signed up for the managed payments and given my checking account information. I've gotten an email from eBay saying they are now managing payments for my account. I've seen nothing about the microtransaction or any verification of the checking account. I have payments from eBay pending. What should I do?

I am in the same boat as you.
I use a credit union that's not on the list.
I use the " my bank is not on the list " option to change/correct my info to no avail.
ebay wants me to enter the full account of the wron g acount info in order to chnage it....
I dont have that infp becaise its not my account # that I ever entered.
so now I have thousands of dollars gong somewhere and no way to contact ebay.

I'm in the same boat. Waited around 4 hours for a call back yesterday. Got an email saying they tried to call. No they didn't. Phone records prove that. Waited another three hours for another request and heard nothing. Says they will call back in four minutes this morning......that was two hours ago.

I do not want to be paid out to the checking account I have on file and I want to add another account. However when I go to add the account and enter routing number, account number, etc. it then asks me to enter the full bank account number of the bank account currently associated with my ebay account. I do this and then it tells me there's an error and that I can either retry or cancel. Retrying doesn't work and I've tried several times now with the same issue over and over. I tried contacting customer support just now via chat and it says that live support isn't available. So then I went the route of having support call me. It too said that phone support isn't available. I went to start a new discussion in the community and it denied me access to do so. So far I am HATING this new managed payments to no end. What am I supposed to do and why won't it let me add my bank account??? PLEASE HELP.

I'm in the same boat - have about $1000 that they're holding - if not fixed by Wednesday, I'm taking my listings off, calling the Attorney General and switching to another platform.

i am a seller too. apparently they are not using paypal anymore. i cannot get paid now because i will [NEVER] provide my SSN to an online app. My bank info is apparently not good enough. Now i have been unable to reach chat or call customer service for days. i finally deleted all my items in my store because i wont sell anymore if they are going to keep my money. this relationship is apparently over. i am now leery of buying on ebay because they must be going down. if i had stock i would be selling it. just sayin

I preferred to use PayPal as the main payment method. Why isn't their an option switch back from this dumb "EBAY PAYOUT METHOD".

Been waiting well over a month for 47 bucks.
a) they send it to my back it fails. They retry. This is retry number 5 I’m on
b) I call it’s been escalated, no one has called me back to see what’s happened.
c) I can’t add another bank, every time I try to add to verify with my account number it says something went wrong and won’t add.
if there any eBay staffers here or someone that get a supervisor involved. This is completely frustrated and asinine.
The account is correct, it just feels like no one can give me the answer why it’s failing.
HELP
