Been using eBay for years and it now won’t update app because it says I need ios16 which I cannot get on my phone.

I have been using eBay for many years, now all of a sudden the app won’t work, saying it’s expired and I must update, I have been trying with no success.can anyone please advise

Unable to use eBay since update.

Just attempted to open up ebay. I’m getting a pop up saying I need to update but when I try, I’m told I need iOS version 17. I have an iPhone 7 and an iPad Air 2. So I guess this means I will not be using eBay anymore…?
