Keyboard not showing up when making offers

Keyboard does not appear when mashing 3 or replying to an offer, neither for the value not for message with the offer.

All other buttons work fine

Keyboard works fine when replying to messages or writing description.

eBay app updated to the latest version this morning. Problem still exists.

Even this forum works every now and then and keeps throwing stupid error codes, like

"

Correct the highlighted errors and try again.

• There was an error while attempting to post your message. Try again in a few minutes."

It's nearly impossible to parts text here as well, which summaries how eBay works...

Same exact problem. Offer screen pops up, keyboard will not. It used to be I'd just tap anywhere on the screen around the dollar sign and the keyboard would pop up. If I keep taping all over the screen for a few minutes some times the keyboard comes up. It's been like this for 3 weeks now. Makes countering offers on my phone impossible.

This solution did not work for me. Are there any other solutions available for this issue? It's very frustrating.

Try to tap on the $ sign and it will show you numbers you can type your offer.

Keyboard doesn't pop up at all, so there is nothing to press.

Hit the dollar sign $ and it should show up. It did for me and I have the android ebay app. I can't understand why ebay customer service never told me this. The space to type in the offer and the keyboard used to show up I think.

Please upgrade to the latest version of the eBay app and let us know if you are still not seeing the keyboard.

It seems to be working for the most part. Sometimes, I have to tap on the area a few times to get the keyboard but the last time I used it, it came up right away.

It is now after I clicked on the dollar sign
