inbox messages not going away (notification)

I have checked my messages multiple times and the notifications do not go away please fix this ... I dont care if I haven't done what the message has asked .. if I look at it it should go away .. notification that is

I'm finding when read messages in the inbox they don't get marked as read once leave the message.

This happens to me too. I get a new message, read it. And then it is still highlighted like I have not read it. I deleted the message just so it wouldn't show I have an unread message. And then the deleted message appeared again. I deleted three times and the message just keeps coming back after deleting.

The work around I found for now,

1. Click edit
2. Select the message
3. Click the 'Mark as read' button in the top right corner

I went to update and I got this message....see screenshot.  I tried it again and it worked the second time. But just wanted to show you in case other people may have the problem with updating.

iv deleted many unread messages. and they are still showing up in my inbox when I reopen  it
