Hi folks,

Sorry if this has been mentioned before. The eBay app doesn't show when I select the recent apps button. I'm running Android version 6.0.1 on a Sony Xperia Z2 and app version 5.14.1.0.

Thank you for getting in touch with us. Could you please try the following to get this working again.

1. Visit the Google Play Store and uninstall the app

2. Restart your phone

3. Visit the Google Play Store and install the app

If you are using a custom launcher like Nova launcher, could you try reinstalling the launcher and this may fix the issue.

Please let us know if this works.

This is very odd. This never happens to other apps? Do you have any battery saving settings turned on?

This only happens to eBay app. I think the phone optimises apps by default but I'm able to bypass this. I've added eBay to the bypass to see if it helps. Incidentally, restarting my phone has fixed the problem for now.

This is happening to me too. I am however running a custom launcher (Arrow Launcher by Microsoft) but regardless of that no other apps are exhibiting this behavior. Restart fixes it for now. FWIW I'm using an LG G6 running Android 7.0, stock/manufacturers ROM only.

Can this be shared with app devs please?
