No, it's really in quite good shape. I found out it's a Japenese Oriental table. I've found a couple others, one on ITSY and one of ebay but not sure what they went for. Under $100. I'm sure. I'll just have to list it locally since shipping would be so high.

In Rhode Island they would say its a "Wicked Good" table.
Be hard to ship like you said. Do the kitties like it?
Thank you for mentioning our group in there.
Enjoy your day,

WONDERFUL TAX TIME AGAIN....:_|
CAN ANYONE ADVISE ME AS TO IF ALL SALES ON EBAY NEED TO BE CLAIMED IF WE HAVE A SALES TAX LICENSE.
I'M NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THE STRESS OF TAXES AGAIN.... BOO HOO..

You need to check your State laws. Sales tax is a state issue. As for the rest, my accountant told me if I sold personal items on ebay, I didn't have to include them in my total sales.

Fun with taxes time o'h boy.
We always show what we sell not sure the actual laws. On ebay we use:
Sales Reports Plus
Go "Account" while in your ebay.
Pull down and look for "Subscriptions"
It will pull up all sorts of things you can choose.
Be careful what you choose some come with fees.....
See if you can choose "Sales Reports Plus"
It is my favorite one. It will pull up all he totals for every month. You need to choose which month you want.
Please take a look and let me know what you find. Be back later in the day depends how I feel.
Enjoy your day,

I checked this out and it would be really helpful for those who sell alot. But for me, I've barely sold anything this year. I've bought alot of merchandise and will have to pay sales tax on that. I can't afford a accountant. We make such little money yearly, it's best if I do our taxes vs, paying since we get so little back..
I always wait till the last minute to get my taxes in. It takes me that long to work on them.. Oh my 😮

Don't feel bad. This will be the first year I'm not going to apply for an extension. I actually don't have to file at all because Disability is not taxable and I sold so little I'm in the negative column on my Schedule C.

Nice you found that sales program Ebay has. It works well for us. We try to pay our extra medicare supplement bill with the Ebay proceeds.
Lousy feeling selling my lifetime collections. No family members have the slightest bit of interest in them.
These days they would rather be sending 4000 messages a day. :^O

Well today marks the 2nd year of my holding $1,000's of inventory. I am just overwhelmed and it makes my stomach turn to think of all the work ahead of me. 2 years ago I felt better but anymore this is so overwhelming.
I see others post clothing and they make it look so easy. I even saw one seller who could use a much better camera and/or some lessons but she must have just dove in and took her chances and she's selling. KUDOS to her... Another lady lists so much and sells about 10 to 12 used items a day.
Dang.. I just resent my physical and mental issues. This has got to be my biggest obstacle and why is it??? overwhelmed!!!
I don't expect any replies. I just really needed to vent.
I miss chatting with you all too.

Janet can we figure out a way to create a "group hug"....:-D
:-)Hugs to all:-)
Did that work?
All anyone can do is list 1 item at a time. We found out a pretty good way to take pictures.
1. By going into a room on the opposite end of where the sun rises and sets.....
2. Open the shade/blind just a little bit
3. Try putting the item down on the floor and taking 4 pictures of it.
4. Then try putting a white sheet or cloth on the floor. The put the item on that. Take pictures again.
You may need to set your camera to "macros" (close ups)
By trying different things we get nice pictures now. Once figuring it out we just keep doing the same thing.
You can "crop" the pictures after you download them to your computer usually.
Going to be out of action a couple days cause of medical reasons. More about this later.
Take care,
DWB

I just can't get organized. I'm going to have to give this basement sale a chance to sell the majority of my Sacred Threads and more. Yea.. I'll lose alot of money and can't afford to especially now with Randy not working but I can't keep hanging on to it. I need a partner but it's hard to find one.....
Sending you my best DWB

The big picture is always too overwhelming Janet ... break it down to one or two items. Try to list each day. You can do this. I understand about the physical and mental blocks though ... I experience them myself. I always have said that if my head is in a bad place and I list an item ... it won't sell. It's like I attach negativity to it and it goes nowhere. Now, when I am in a good place and list ... my items sell. I know it is weird but my success or failure is due to my mood.
Your bargain basement sale sounds like a good plan ... just make sure you price thing so you make some kind of profit ... you don't want to give them away! Good luck in your endeavor ... I am sure you will do great.
Speaking of taking pictures ... I bought a bowl for fifty cents ... winds up to be a Northwood and is from early century ... it is clear so I put it on the floor in front of my dining room window ... took pictures of it on the carpet, on blue and on black. I knew I had to make sure I got good pictures because these bowls sell in the hundreds! I am so excited.

Good job, Kate.. The bowl is so pretty and unique. I'm sure it will sell. Don't give up on it.
I am pricing so that my items will make alittle money. I just got myself in too deep with clothing. And Sacred Threads, of all brands needs good pictures and very descriptive info.. After taking all the pictures and measuring just one item is all I can do in one or two days. I'll try and sell what doesn't go at the sale.. Thanks for your kind words.

Got a selling question...well, a payment question...I finally sold my motorcycle and the person who bought it sent me 2 USPS money orders. I deposited them in my checking account and the bank put a 7 day hold on them.
Both the Post Office and the bank teller verified that they are not counterfeit but they still put the hold on. I'd rather be safe than sorry so i don't mind but the buyer is a bit bent out of shape.
I know there have been issues with counterfeit USPS money orders but I've never heard of a 7 day hold. Have any of you?
My post office couldn't cash them because they don't have that much cash on hand.
