Spring Is Arriving - What's It Like Where You Are

Spring Is Arriving

Been enjoying watching all the birds and other wild life coming around. Trees are leafing. Flowers starting to grow.

What is the spring like where you are?

Spring Is Arriving - What's It Like Where You Are

I am in PA and it is in the 20's this morning.  We are supposed to get a few inches of snow tonight.

But the green is appearing and my daffodils are coming up!  I had my driveway wall rebuilt last summer and I was worried that the daffodil bulbs would be gone, but so far I can see a lot of the cute lil things making their way out of the soil!

Spring Is Arriving - What's It Like Where You Are

Tucson AZ:

Mid to upper 80's during the day and 50's at night.    Almost the same as our winter this last year which was 70's to low 80's during the midday and 40's at night.

Our "winter" was milder than usual with only a few days of cold a freak snow storm.

Have to start getting up earier to walk the dog since the temps are starting climb earlier in the day.

if it wasn't our 3 months a year when it's super Hot it's acutally very nice here year round.

It does agree with my body better than California did when we lived close to the ocean and it was damp and foggy through unitl about July.   I do miss the ocean though.

Have a good day!

Have not been able to get in here much any more. Nice to see some activity going on.

In this part of Florida it is spring everywhere you look.

Also lots of newborn birds, and animals.

Many Mama and Papa deer coming out back here to show off their new little baby deer. There are at last count 5  different families of deer out here most mornings. Yesterday their were what looksed like 10 full grown and around 20 or so newborn.

They know its safe out here. And keep making new ones. All we leave out for them are buckets of water. They empty them all the time

wishing you all good health and to be pain free

Getting nicer here in PA, with some days in the 60's.

My daffodils are coming up, as well as the tulips and lillies.  Doing my best to clean up the yard of maple tree branches and pine branches.

My 3 year old grandson loves to pick up pine cones so that is great--less bending for me.

Blessed Easter to all!

Spring is trying to turn to summer, but the nights are staying cool.  It's amazing that we're still having 30 degrees or more temp changes from daytime to overnight.  As long as it keeps doing that I don't have to run my AC:)  A block house with white flat roof is GOOD thing in the desert!

Been seeing a lot road kill snakes on the road, our little round tail ground squirrels are omnivores so they drag them into their dens.  They look like small prairie dogs, kind of act like them too.

Been watching a Cooper Hawk Build a nest in a neighbors Eucalyptus tree, hope to get picture of her sitting on it, but it so high up maynot be able too.

Hope your having a good day,

12 new listings have done my back in off to rest and a heat pack.

We have snakes this time of year also. They are all over the place...

Every spring the Ospreys build big huge nests all around here. I like to sit out there and watch them with binoculars. The newborns are in there now just about ready to learn how to fly.

There are Eagle nests not far off too. We are close to bird sanctuaries here so lots of fabulous birds stop by.

Good to be back been down for a long time.

Wishing everyone pain free and improving health

We're going to Sedona next month for a week and I am sure we'll see a lot birds that we do not get in this area.  Kind of pricy but rented a house for 175 a night, compared to nice hotels it's not so bad.  If I'd thought to go this time of year I could have found another place for about $100 a night but they are booked up now. At least our Ebay sales over the last couple months will pay for the trip:)

Hard to find a place that takes dogs, has AC and not a ton of stairs, Heidi ( my dog) and I don't care for stairs.    Keith wants a rustic cabin in the middle of nowhere, I'd be ok with that too as long as it has AC.

It will be relaxing with some "hiking",  as long as it's fairly level ground I can do a couple miles on a good day with the tens unit on, of course it's called "pay to play".

Glad you're feeling a little better.

Take care, Jenny
