eBay has a major problem with sellers not shipping items, especially new sellers. I have had 7 orders canceled or refunded by eBay in the past 9 months. It has gotten to the point where I’m pleasantly surprised when a seller ships something that is a good deal now. And it shouldn’t feel or be that way.
out of those 7 sellers, 5 never even responded, and I waited 2-3 weeks to be able to get my money back every time. Any new seller/seller with less than 10 feedback that doesn’t ship their sold item within their handling time, shouldn’t get the right to an extra 3-5 days to “respond” because I’ve been thought it 5+ times though out my time on eBay, and they never say one word. NOT ONE. Than I look back and the accounts that didn’t even have any other feedback are still active. If an account with literally no feedback doesn’t ship an item, it should be an automatic ban, and it’s getting to the point where the seller should be fined too. It’s a problem that could be mostly fixed, but I guess EBay would rather have the money that the fake account could create them, than to deal with the problems it will cause.

Only takes a couple of inr cases for a new seller to be suspended, as they receive a defect for each one. Cant imagine Ebay 'fining' sellers tho.

Hi,
How would it be changing the rules for everybody? And new sellers if they are going to be legit, understand that they have to SHIP the item. And they have to respond as well. I will continue to buy from sellers with no feedback because some are truly just people that are new, that ACTUALLY talk and ship items. If everyone avoids them, they will never get their first feedback. It’s just a shame that so many irresponsible people go onto eBay and ruin it for other new sellers.
All I’m saying is that 0 feedback sellers, don’t deserve to stay on the app without getting confronted by an eBay rep after not replying to cases or shipping items. And that wouldn’t apply to anyone but new sellers who aren’t shipping items.

There’s one account with a -1 feedback score, and 23 items sold, odds of which none where shipped, and it’s still up and running. And I don’t mean like actual sellers would get fined. I meant fake sellers who waste eBay’s and their customers time and energy. That would make them cut ties and block eBay both ways from their bank/credit card account if it’s linked. Getting one more fake seller off of the site.

I waited 3 weeks.
Needed to report Product Not Received.
Seller did Not respond.
I got a refund and it was Closed.
So I left Negative Feedback.
- then the seller Responded :
The Seller directly states that they don't always / want to ship orders...
Shouldn't EBay kick this Seller off ?
