Been on eBay since 2009. Have the same shipping address since 2009. This seller claims a problem with shipping address. 1st time that's ever happened. Want to leave this one a deserved feedback but am unable to. Seems like a case of sellers remorse. Can I leave feedback in away I am unaware of? Thanks in advance.

"Want to leave this one a deserved feedback but am unable to"
The real question I ask why, why do you want to leave a deserved feedback when you don't even know what happened?

I feel you are assuming that there was no problem with your address.
While I agree you may be correct there is always the chance that there was some problem with the address.
Have you tried messaging the seller to see what the issue was?
If the seller just used the "problem with address" to cancel and they message you that they did just to cancel the sale... THEN you should report it to eBay.

Thanks for the reply. I have reported the seller but still wish I could give deserved feedback.

Did you use a PO box? UPS/Fedex can't/won't deliver there.......

You can leave FB for a cancelled order.
Go to Site Map
Feedback
Leave FB for My orders
Your transaction will be there. If your Seller is a Top Rated Seller, you cannot leave neutral or negative FB for 7 days.
Have you emailed your Seller to inquire why they cancelled your order?

The real ?'s are why no communications from the seller before cancel and why no ability to leave feedback. I payed immediately after the auction ended. And I do know what happened. I've been selling auction style for over 10 years. When an item sells for less than I imagined I've accepted the sale and send the item.

and bottom line is this person will get away with the 'something wrong with address' and you know why; but what really matters is...
have they relisted?
will you rebid?

Thanks again for the reply. I do have a P.O. Box . Understand if it's a UPS or FedEx problem but, seller has USPS shipping and they have always delivered to the P.O. Box.

Thanks for the reply. No way I would rebid. I imagine they will relist item.

This sometimes happens when a seller runs out of stock or otherwise can't fill the order. This may have happened several times and eBay dings them for it. If they get too many dings, they get reduced visibility, maybe higher fees, might even be kicked off.
They avoid that by lying about the address.
I don't know if this is the case. But between you reporting them and a potential bad feedback, they probably have enough troubles. I suggest you move on.
And no way is it the buyer's responsibility to ask the seller for an explanation. The seller should have contacted you. Buyers should only have to pay, then sit back and wait for their item to arrive, as described.
Kind of odd the solution you accepted.

I understand this, but the seller may have PO Box exclusion set up, so that would make the problem with buyers address correct and honest.
A buyer can not dictate shipping terms to a seller.

Many sellers do not ship to PO boxes and it is an exclusion that can be set up on their account. That is the seller's choice and is a valid reason for cancelling.
