Problem with transaction and money back

I bought a mug from an ebay seller The item was received in small tiny pieces of broken glass.I opened a case on ebay for damaged item. I got a message saying accepted the case but cannot send return label.And a note that the sellerv is still responsible for shipping costs.At the case window it does not allow me to escalate the case and tell me that they will close the case on 5 February.My location is in Greece.Has anyone been into  such a situation as mine and what did you do?Or if you know what I can do ? Of there is nothing to be returned as the item is small smashed pieces of glass.Beware of this seller. And ebay has parted with the seller and not giving me a refund.Please if anyone knows what I can do inform me

Re: Problem with transaction and money back

That listing says the buyer ships using the GSP so they should have taken care of it...but the op's other thread says eBay told him they don't qualify for MBG protection, so I wonder if the OP lost their coverage

Re: Problem with transaction and money back

I did not  ask for return.Ebay guidded me to that.I MENTIONED THAT SMALL PIECES OF GLASS CANNOT BE RETURNED.IF YOU CAN UNDERSTAND .IF YOU WERE IN SUCH A SITUATION.AND YOU ARE NOT. EXPLOITATION AND FRAUD IS BLOOMING.OF COURSE I POSTED PICTURES THAT THE SELLER HAS SEEN BUT DOES NOT WANT TO SEE!!!!! I KNOW HOW A LIABLE SELLER ACTS IN MANY SITUATIONS WHEN I RECEIVED BROKEN GLASS AND WHEN I TOLD THEM THIS THEY SEND A REPLACEMENT.THEY NEVER ASKED TO RETURN BROKEN GLASS.WHAT YOU DONT UNDERSTAND IS THIS.BUT OF COURSE WHO HAS THE POWER.CONGRATULATIONS

Of course not.And therev is nothing to be returned.Small pieces of shattered glass?If you find this  reasonable?The seller knows that he is protected by ebay who apparently protects fraud and moves as he likes.I will never buy again from this site.Also as you might not know postsage from Greece to US is enormous not including customs fees.Do you expect the seller to pay for these?Of course not

Re: Problem with transaction and money back

You are a seller .I do not know what you sell and not interrested .Of course you try to protect yourself and know that ebay protects you if you behave in no fare trade ways.Take no offense.I have never bought from you but Iam a buyer who pays money , never cheated on anybody .If you were a buyer and taken the money from you lets have a talk for it then. Also what about negative feedback.Ebay will remove it.As fraud is covered and protected!!!!!

Re: Problem with transaction and money back

As i pointed out earlier the feedback you leave makes you look like a problematic buyer, you do this on a regular basis, sellers are not stealing your money, If E bay sides with a seller and closes a case against you which is almost impossible then there is a reason, something maybe you are not sharing with everyone.

Re: Problem with transaction and money back

@glikerizachar-0,

You replied to another topic saying

  "My location is in Greece. Iam in the same situation not exactly so receiving damaged item and not getting refund".

I just replied to that post with the following;

Because you are located in Greece and have posted this on the U.S. site what I write may be covered differently by ebay's buyer protections.  You need to look up the Buyer protections or Money Back Guarantee policies on your site, as they may differ from the ones on the U.S. site.

If you receive a damaged item you can try contacting the seller, and if they do not respond or do anything to resolve the issue, you file a Not As Described dispute through the resolution center.  Once yo do that the seller has 3 business days to respond, with a solution. If they do not you ask ebay to step in, and get a refund.

  If the seller responds with send the item back, and they are located in a different country, you may have to pay the return shipping cost and ship the item back with tracking. You add the tracking number to the dispute in the resolution console and also a photo or scan of the postal receipt. Once the tracking information shows the item was delivered, the seller has a few days to issue the refund and if they do not ebay will refund the original purchase price  and shipping, plus refund your return shipping cost as well, and collect it from the seller.

Once you open a dispute, it only stays open for 30 days and then is automatically closed if you do not ask ebay to step in. If in your case the seller kept messaging you with promises or telling you to wait because a replacement item was being sent, they scammed you out of your protections.

If you paid using PayPal, you have 180 days from the date of purchase to file a not as decribed dispute, but you have to pay the return shipping cost.

  "I will pay to return tiny pieces of glass which means shipping cost of more than 60 usd .Iam not a fool to do so and no one would do it.Also about pictures mentioned not all of us have cameras or are able to get photos.We are not professionals but ordinary people and being axploited in such way is out of question".

Do you have a smart phone with a camera, or know someone who has one. They can take a photo for you and send it to your email account then you can save the photo and add it to a dispute. If you had found a way to send a photo chances are the seller would not require you to return the item for a refund.

but that would require them to find a similar item and smash it.

Sorry but one item arriving smashed I'd believe, but two in just a few days time, I don't believe. This looks like buyer fraud pure and simple.

Sorry but that's incorrect. If the seller is responsible for return shipping, the buyer should NOT pay for a label themselves.  The seller should send money for the label through Paypal.  If a buyer follows your advice and the seller refuses to pay for the return shipping the buyer will be out that money. eBay cannot take the money from the seller's account as it was not part of the original transaction.

Re: Problem with transaction and money back

Seems like the Spiteful Feedback you left for another seller you accused of stealing your money has been removed and rightly so, it is not supposed to be used to extort money / items from sellers, hopefully the other seller will also have theirs removed.
