handpan..., Are you trying to leave feedback or a product review?   Sometimes the problem is on ebay's side, but other times it can be caused by a build up of cookies on your device.

If you are using the app. Try using your device's browser and logging in the classic way with your username and address.

  If you are trying to leave feedback from your purchase history, and are getting the message, try going to your feedback profile page. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on the Leave Feedback button on the right near the number of items per page box.

If neither of those work try clearing your device's temporary internet files and cookie cache, then restarting your device, and try again.

The reason being is I bet you are going to write a 1 star review.

I believe it is blocked so that you can't write a negative review.

I believe they are allowing the sells of fake items WHICH IS ILLEGAL.

NOT ALLOWING US TO REVIEW IS ALSO ILLEGAL.

WHERE do you get your information? 

Assuming we are talking about feedback (not reviews), how could someone be blocked BEFORE writing a review. Wouldn't that mean eBay KNEW what kind of review they intended? Like mind reading?

FB is entirely optional for either party.  Sellers cannot ever leave negative FB for buyers.

yea something weird is deff going on with the reviews - guy sold me an item that didn't fit the description at all and so was going to leave a negative review but keep getting this same error but weirdly enough ALL my other purchases i can leave a review for just fine - it's literally this one auction that i can't review - strange ebay.....strange

so just contacted support about it and apparently the seller actually removed the negative review i left and that's why it's giving me an error now - interesting that sellers can now just scam anyone and remove the review if they don't like it - gg ebay

this was her literal response about it "The feedback you left is a negative feedback and the seller disputed the feedback to eBAy, hence it was removed."

However, It can't be not allowing 1-star reviews; I get this error as soon as I arrive at the page-before I can type a word.  I WAS able to give a review of other products roughly a week ago. have been getting this error for about4-5 days.

And.. we're talking product reviews here, NOT seller feedback.

Am having this problem and have been for the last 5 days! I want to review some thing I gave positive feedback for yet not allowed to. The same stupid message keeps comng up. Weirdly I can review items I have not even received yet! How does that work!!!!

Ebay seems to think that if a seller sells junk and the buyer demands and gets a refund that the sellers are OK to remove negative reviews through dispute.   I figured out on items that are lower than $20 that the cost to package the item up and send it back is the same as the cost to just buy a working replacement so a better use of the money is to NOT ask for a refund but just leave  a negative review.  The sellers can't remove those.

I ALWAYS leave positive feedback once I get it. After leaving feedback and allowing some time to use what I bought I write a review and with both positive and drawbacks issues (if any) detailed.I avoid toxic comments.

I'm a member since 1995. So whatever is causing the message below, is not because I'm a new user, or not that I did not leave feedback or that I'm somehow blocked, I'm not able to write a review for a new product I bought from a seller I had not previously bought from. So all of the speculation above on these issues is off base.

Anyway, this started a few weeks ago, in mid December with every other review I tried to make, then later on every one gets the message.

Good products SHOULD get positive reviews, junk SHOULD get negative reviews. I read reviews and throw out the "I haven't tried it yet" idiotic reviews, and those that are so far wrong that it's clear the author had no idea how to use the product. I pay attention as a buyer to well written reviews with specific application comments.

The fact that so many are now unable to write reviews for so long is unsettling as a prospective buyer, as a VERIFIED buyer not being able to write one it only hurts the seller of good products.

PS, I deleted cookies AND tried different browsers in Linux and mobile devices so this problem is neither solved nor platform / application specific.
