Is this a valid posting method

Hi,

I came across a listing which I deem weird. Is this a valid eBay posting, cause the sellers external link for buy now seems dubious.

I've never seen a BIN option set up like that on this site... seems to be taking you off site to pay, which is a nono on here.

No, it's a scam and they direct buyers to buy off ebay.

You can use the report item link on the listing.

Could be this seller is going out with a bang...if you know what I mean.

I see a USA address(on items) and a UK ID eBay seller with some feedback>

Seller is getting a good return on some current auctions...but 74,000 seems odd.

And the auctions ending all at the same time as well as began at the same time.

It's only been 3 hours(5 PM) and I think eBay might do something soon.

It would be a nightmare if this seller got a lot of payments and skipped town and if this seller has "Instant Payouts"....But it would never happen...so don't say I did.

Will have one item in my "watched list" to see what happens and if anything happens.

It's a hijacked account. They always are.

That is the typical justification for the too-good-to-be-true deals of the "pawnshop" scam which involves hijacking an existing eBay account, listing hundreds of auctions for luxury items starting at 99 cents to attract attention, and including within each auction an image or text directing users to contact the seller off of eBay to make a purchase. The URL is purposely intended to look like an eBay address, but it is not.

eBay eventually pulls the listings before the auctions end, but by then the scammer has collected many email addresses of potential victims so the scam can be continued via email. The scammer will typically contact the victim and either request payment via an untraceable/irreversible payment method or try to get the buyer to reveal credit card numbers directly to the scammer by posing as eBay.

@loosemirunaaleni,

Apparently someone reported the listing(s) and they have been removed by ebay.   Any seller who posts a method of contact outside of ebay is a scammer.
