Contact the attorney general office in that state and report them. I just got a call from my state of MO attorney general office. They did tell me they would prosecute those in Missouri doing this and I have forwarded them information to assist them to see the issue at hand. They did agree that they are going to come to ebay as well. We have to report this to the state AG's offices and my attorney said they would likely be pairing up with other states to address ebay's inability to reign this in.
These are the sort of cases that are much easier to prove. They can see a package of toilet paper sells for 7.99 at Walmart and you sold 5 of them for 40 dollars a pop.
They want to get any information you have, if you bought and you have the seller's information will help them start moving. If it's 1 time they sold, I don't think the state will get them but the ones you see have multiple listings, looks like they hoarded at the store, those are the ones they need our help.

It is a against the law to price gouge in an emergency. States Attorney generals are contacting Ebay about this. You should report each item you see that is being gouged such as Lysol products, paper products, alcohol products etc. Report them

Well the government sure did step in and shut my hand sanitizer business down. I sold that even before the Coronavirus was a thing. How can the eBay community except one item as being price gouged due to the down fall . But on another hand for other items price gouging is allowed because it doesn't play on the heart strings of the buyers. I'll take $65 for a 4 oz bottle of hand sanitizer please Alex.

Hand sanitizer used to be a simple product. But now it's all of a sudden a band product. What's next steel toed boots?

If the seller lives in one of the 24 states with price gouging laws, you report them to the attorney general of that state. I know my governor Is handing out $10,000 fines for people caught doing it.

I'm sorry that happened to you. That is messed up. That's why you should be harassing every single person who is on eBay selling it for $65. I had a guy bragging to me in a private message about how much money he's making off people. A real keyboard warrior. These are the people who screwed over your business. Everyone reporting them is trying to prevent chaos and hugely distorted pricing. eBay is failing miserably.
