One thing I've noticed since I started selling here, people will buy anything if the price is right.

Horrible condition? Might just be on your end.
As a seller/buyer as long as the item is as described (damaged, brand new, used, etc....) That is all that matters. I have seen people refurbish damaged phones bought here

eBay has countless millions of items listed and your post seems to insinuate they're all of dubious quality.
Of course there are going to be some that are flawed but as long as the description is accurate I do not see a problem.
Some years ago I sold a few rusted, worn out antique motorcycle cams. I listed them as "Bid on them as if they were scrap metal". A 100 bucks is what they brought and the buyer was perfectly happy so junk is in the eye of the beholder.

1. You are implying that everything sold and bought on eBay is in horrible condition.
2. Maybe you need to vet your sellers more carefully.
3. You know there's a Money Back Guarantee for buyers, right?
PS: Have been here for many years and have never received anything that's in horrible condition.

eBay gives buyers 5 ways to determine if an item is in the condition a buyer wants.
Photos, Description, Item condition, Item specifics and a Contact seller button.
If the photos are not clear or do not show all sides of an item.
If the description is lacking in detail or states "untested, I don't know anything about the item" etc.
If the Item specifics don't have more than 3 specifics especially when listed as Used/PreOwned
And the seller does not respond to questions.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!
FYI. I've bought many old, rusty, broken, missing parts Tonka and other toys, for next to nothing, and repaired, refurbished, replaced parts, for resale or used them for parts. Proof that one person's trash can be another's gold mine.

The condition of some of these phones remind me of the movie "Used Cars"..... 😂

Is this with what you have received that was not as stated??
Or just the listings hoping to sell bad condition items??

Or maybe some unscrupulous sellers are wising up and describing/photographing their items more accurately after too many INADs.
Or this could be a ridiculous statement that is over generalizing the greater eBay population based on a very very small sample size, take your pick.
