It sucks a big time. I am looking for a certain sewing machine user manual, and eBay in its wisdom throws a few ideas that have nothing to do with what I am searching for. So I quit. Is that what eBay wants?
Out of desperation I went to the Recently Viewed and cleared it all up. Which had zero effect on my search results.
Whoever thought up this idea, needs fired.
Argh

What model sewing machine manual are you searching for and how are you searching?

Sears Kenmore 158.12120. Am searching by this exact number. Tried searching without the model number 12120, just 158, with the same results. Off to google search I go. 😞
Thanks for replying.

There may not be any manuals matching that model currently listed on eBay.
I tried some variations of that part number and did not see anything matching.
A search using google does find some likely hits, including this:

eburtonlab's reply saying there are probably no current listings for your model Sears Kenmore sewing machine's manual listed, is probably why you are not finding what you want. Since Janome made Kenmore sewing machines from 1965 to the early 2000s, you could probably find a manual on their site. or you could try Sewing parts online .com.

Personally i do not have any issues finding what i need if it is listed on eBay.
If you do not know or do already, try adding quotes to your search terms. Just a FYI
example. "Sears Kenmore 158.12120"
This will not help you on this particular seach (item not listed on eBay as such) but might help with future searches. Especially if you are searching for an item that has the make and model number. YMMV

If you can't find what you're looking for, isn't it reasonable to assume that there are none currently listed on eBay?
May I recommend SewingPartsOnLine.com? Have recently received a couple of instruction books for vintage machines from that company.

What "idea"? If you searched and did not find what you were looking for, why does that indicate that eBay "sucks"?

It is horrible. I remember searching for a Vinyl Record and Car parts were coming up all over the place. With Google you can almost misspell every word and they figure it out.

Have you tried Google or the manufactures web site?
You can probably find it for free.
