They rolled out a Beta a few weeks back. It was a bit confusing since we
had been conditioned to the old method. It went away but now seems to be
back. Inbox is for notifications. Messages is the envelope to the right
of your cart.
EDIT: This issue seems to be for USPS Flat Rate or at least for me.
Must have been a glitch. I revised. Went into shipping. Clicked on
charge a flat rate(didn't enter a price) and then clicked on calculated
shipping and seemed to fix the issue. Hope...
A friend shared this with me. Is this some sort of Ebay test account? I
could see someone posting a wrong pic, but that doesn't explain a title

What do you feel is acting inappropriately? I have reported a few fake
overseas guitars. I just got a message of "We have removed listing" or
"We found this does not violate Ebay Terms". You won't get detailed
info.
If they open a claim you really have no choice but to accept the return.
Not sure if this is hypothetical, but did you check they buyers feedback
left for others(sellers)? You might see some red flags.
Slightly different situation, but today I was looking at an item. Said
$5 off could be applied to price. When I get to checkout THEN it says I
have to use Venmo to get the discount. Lame.
