I sold an item, ebay indicates its paid for. The seller is contacting me telling me that her card was rejected and wants to pay be by paypal? I don't understand what's going on here? Is this a scam?

My debit card was stolen today and is no longer active. If used as of 1/12/22 or after, it is no longer valid. Please do not charge anything to it. Thank you,Danny Franks

I have an issue, someone bought a laptop from me re-sold it and had It returned as damaged and now they want to send it back to me 3 weeks later saying its broken what do I do. I sent it in perfect condition and this is a bogus return.
