Amazon charges $40 a month + fees and you can only sell New items. 1 or 2 used, Software, DVD's with restritions. Not many people are sell New items only. I think with eBay the best way to stay on top is to re-stage and relist your item periodically to get the best results.

I agree, it is getting so hard to sell on Ebay unless you give the merchandise for practically nothing. Also people bid on items, then when they win, refuse to pay.

YES, I am having the same issues.
I fear I will lose my top seller status, due to not enough sales.
It seems to be a ghost town.
What has happened? 😞

Day after day.
Month after month.
Year after year.
This is not a static market. Never was and never will be.
What sold yesterday is today's glut.
This is work! Nothing stays the same.
bottom line is the bottom line. If what you have cannot be sold at a profit, don't try to sell it. Basic business 101. What sold 15 years ago like a house afire is dead in the fire extinguisher foam now.
Did I mention work?

It was great while it lasted but now Amazon has taken all the business . I literally tried placing 50 items at a good price 2 weeks before Xmas and only sold 2 and lost money on one . I think it's only good for one of a kind or antique items now .

Ebay is an untrustworthy mediator. Too many times I have purchased things that never arrived, were broken, or were not as described, and never recovered money from any of it. I'd rather pay more and have a reasonable expectation of either getting what I expected, or getting a partial or even full refund. Specific examples: bid on a "full set" of collectable cards, but received only a partial set missing the valuable ones. Bid on blu-ray player, received a box of scrap wood. Bid on a "new in box" computer monitor, received a scratched and dusty unit with screen damage not in original packaging. Filed complaints with Ebay in all three instances and lost each time.

It’s almost impossible for a buyer to lose a “not as described” case. Losing multiples takes talent.
