I don't know if the issue of returns has been addressed in any previous posts here being that I didn't actually read all the replies but I will venture to give this advice. Protect yourself by offering exchanges only. One of the worst things to deal with from customers is buyer remorse. They will say, "Oh I don't want it." after they've received it. Your reply should be, "Sorry, but you clicked on buy now." If it is not in the condition specified, they can send it back and get a new one. Of course, they pay the shipping to send it back because you the seller did your best to ensure that they received the item in the specified condition.

Dear Mike ...I hope that works out for you.

Really mike, and they'll leave you a negative or a neutral for having an attitude if it is buyer's remorse.
LMAO "Sorry, but you clicked on buy now." You could have maybe pull that 4 or 5 years ago.
It's 2011 sellers turn around, touch your toe's, and prepare to be treated like some big guy name Bubba's prison girlfriend.
Antique/Vintage shops don't allow returns lots of times because people take an old thing home break and try to bring it back.
Frankly for what sellers pay in fees why we can't at least leave negative for non-payment is beyond me.
Sell you junk and do it quick. Then take a long shower afterwards huddle it the corner crying as the hot water washes the stains of Violation away. I do that once a month after I pay my fees.

Makes no difference if the item was faded or not. The seller now has the Neg for 12 months for all to see.

Well said OwlsNest, well said!
Have you all noticed lately that just about anyone who has posted here lately (not complaining) about getting ripped off has a NO RETURNS POLICY.
CHANGE YOUR POLICY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! You may not want the item back, but you don't like to give money away either, right???

Happy New Year here on ebay 🙂 look at all the old discussions brought back to the top full of useful info to keep each and every one of us and the newbies out of trouble 🙂 May we all have lots of happy sales this year and may the lessons learned and shared here by the sellers find their way to the newbies before the lesson is learned the hard way.

.I see where it's written on the PP invoice.........
Issues with this transaction?
You have 45 days from the date of the transaction to open a dispute in the Resolution Center.
You'd think that any buyer would take note of this....and any seller would get the picture that their No Returns.....Final Sale.....or 14 day refunds...wouldn't really mean SQUAT !
( at least the 14 day return , shows you stand by your item..! )
