Last time I had a return for a $400 laptop eBay refunded the guy the
second his "return" landed in my mailbox. It wasn't a laptop, it was
stickers from a etsy seller.
It's pretty good. But more scammers, and stupid people then normal. I
think I might block 0 feedback buyers. I don't want to, but at this
point they seem to cause 90% of scams.
How do you actually win the appeal? Last time I had massive amounts of
proof, weight differences, return came from an etsy store not the buyer.

That link you sent, the DHL tracking number works. But on your website
it's for a package sent May 3rd, my item was purchased May 9th. So, DHL
might have messed up there.
