Hello!
I recently sold a black plush to someone, and they claimed they got the wrong item. The only proof they sent was a some sort of coat or furniture with a blue plush leg in the background. I don't own any blue plushes, and the picture is so poor I can't even tell what type. So I'm guessing this is just a return scam where they will return a random item. Is there any thing I can do to fight this? I'm trying to include the photo but it will not upload.

Right now all you can do is accept the return and provide a shipping label and see what they ship back.
If they ship back a different item, then you can report the buyer and appeal the case.

This is an example of what so many sellers complain about - buyers always right and sc___ the sellers. Sellers can't even leave negative feedback.

How do you actually win the appeal? Last time I had massive amounts of proof, weight differences, return came from an etsy store not the buyer. All I was told was that eBay doesn't receive the returns, therefore it's not their problem. eBay wouldn't even look at my appeal, so how do you actually win?
I wasn't even given the option to inspect the return, this time it claims I can so idk.

Appealing the case and winning is rare.
All you can do is provide as much information as you can and hope someone with a little sense looks at the case.
