Literally just got the notice today and have opted out. By the time I
pay for extra insurance for any of the carriers because they
purposefully handle everything roughly, I am left with not even enough
to cover the Ebay fees over the cost of that shi...
Sorry for your loss. Ebay is the worst! They just refunded a scammy
buyer who stopped communicating once I asked for pictures of the damage
they claimed and of course also wouldn't return the item. I'm out $70
but it's really not even about the money...
