I see a lot of misinformation in the eBay Community about drop shipping
from Amazon. Maybe it was allowed before but it is not allowed now, and
not just from Amazon, from any retailer. If you thought you were buying
an item directly from an eBay sell...
I'm a very low volume seller (not with this ID) and while I have been
able to sell quite a few of my personal possessions and was able to
reclaim a good amount of money from them, I have had two bad experiences
and that's it, I'm not going to take it...
I believe drop-shipping from retailers like Amazon is still prohibited
on eBay. You should report the seller if the package you received came
from Amazon.
When buying clothing or other items where dimensions are important, ask
the seller to send you measurements. And if they won't then don't buy
from them. Good sellers will show the item with a ruler or measuring
tape next to it.
I could be wrong about this but I think the seller does have some
responsibility to make sure the item gets to you. The seller should
contact UPS and try to get the package to you, otherwise invoke
insurance and refund you or offer you a replacement....
