An item sent to me from Europe has disappeared in ISC New York, No
tracking since May 9th, the seller issued a refund... It seems that US
customs either has a huge backlog, or not enough employees in the last
year..
In the last few weeks,the post office is not scanning packages
apparently. Sometimes no tracking until it's out for delivery...I do
like to be home on delivery day, too many porch pirates...
I have had several "In Transit, Delayed tracking messages lately, the
local postmaster says that with the large volume of packages lately and
lack of avaliable transport there is not much that can be done...since
commercial air service is limited als...
I avoid any seller that uses "Smart Post" it's at the bottom of the list
priorty wise, so things will sit untill there is time and space in the
truck..... I will pay more to have a better shipping option...
