ebay lies to you when you call them. They tell you one thing and you do it, then they let the buyers get their money back even though they buyer called me a liar and it took him past the 14 days to make a claim and they let him have it and charged my paypal account!!!! Plus he was suppose to pay for return shipping now I have have too!!! I thought paypal wasn't part of ebay anymore well it is!!!! I am **bleep** Off. I will not be dealing with this shady site again!!!!

Name calling is rude and childish, but does not change the facts of a Dispute.

The buyer has 30 days from delivery to open a Not As Described dispute.
The seller then has seven (?) days to respond.

In a Buyer Remorse situation, the buyer pays for return shipping.
In a Not As Described dispute, the seller pays for return shipping.
Many buyers notice this and open an NAD which should have been a BR. Not very honest, but hard to police.
If you did not send a Return Shipping Label when instructed to, or if you specify No Returns, eBay will not require the buyer to pay for returns.
No Returns does NOT mean No Refunds.

If you do not refund voluntarily, eBay and Paypal will both do this.
EBay will also put a Defect on your selling account if you do not cooperate in a Claim.

I agree with you,, If I have a customer open a dispute I go ahead and issue a refund because its a waste of time fighting a fight that I know I cant win.

After the item is returned, though, right?
My products are not breakable, but if they were I might settle for a photo, but otherwise, I want the item back so I can resell it and recoup some of my costs.

whatever I will not be selling on this scammy site no longer after this. Here you charge on here and then you charge us on paypal inwhich I was told you guys are not affiliated with and you are!!!

EBay bought Paypal (from Elon Musk among others) in 2002.
The relationship was good for both parties, but in 2014 venture capitalist Carl Icahn forced eBay to sell off Paypal because that would make him a boatload of money, although it was terrible for both businesses.
EBay and Paypal had a five year contract to work together which is now coming to an end.
EBay is moving to add Ayden a startup based in the Netherlands as their primary payment system, which has been introduced in the cack-handed fashion so typical of eBay's management.

I BELEIVE YOUR CORRECT. IF IM THINKING RIGHT MOST OF THE EBAY AGENT ARE FOREIGN AND I DONT THINK THEY TOTALLY UNDERSTAND ENGLISH. IF I DIDNT WANT TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY FOR REPS . I WOULD PROBABLY HAIR THE SAME PEOPLE . IT HARD TO TALK TO SOMEONE WE CANT UNDERSTAND . HERE IS SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED TO ME . I CALLED EBAY ABOUT AN INSURANCE CLAIM AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS NOT THEIR PROBLEM . I EXPLAINED THE PACKAGE WAS SHIPPED THRU FEXEX ,BUT I FOUND OUT FEDEX GAVE IT TO THE US POSTAL SERVICE FOR THEM TO DELIVER IT AND THAT I WAS NO LONGER COVERED UNDER FEDEX INSURANCE PLAN AND THAT THE POSTAL SERVICE DID NOT COVER THE PACKAGE WITH THEIR INSURANCE . I CALLED EBAY THEIR RESPOUNCE WAS IT NOT OUR PROBLEM.THE BEST I CAN TELL FEDEX , USPS AND EBAY ALL MADE MONEY OFF THE SHIPPING OF MY PACKAGE .I PAYED THE BUYER FOR THE ITEM . BUT AS YET I HAVE RECEIVE NO MONEY BACK ON THE INSURANCE CLAIM I FILED . EBAY IS LOST IN THEIR OWN WORLD AND THE CHEAP PEOPLE THEY HAVE HAIRED TO HANDLE THE DUMP END OF THE BUSINESS HAVENT A CLUE. You sold a thing.
You shipped it FedEX.
FedEx sub-contracted to USPS.
That they hired a sub-contractor*, but Fed Ex is still responsible to you as their employer.
You have to make your insurance claim to FedEx, which is the company you chose to hire.
EBay has nothing to do with that.
You are responsible to your buyer for the actions of your sub-contractor (FedEx) in the same way.
Whether the shipment was lost, delayed or damaged, you did right to refund your customer.
