I'm very pleased with the new Packing Slip. Just one question: Any plans to make this uniform throughout the site? At present, if I want to use the new packing slip, I must access it by going to Seller Hub > Orders and use the drop down for "Print Packing Slips and More".. There are other ways to access Packing Slips, but none of them use the new Packing Slip.
@my-cottage-books-and-antiques - I'm so glad to hear that! To make sure I understand what pathways you're referring to, may I please get the URLs and screenshots of the other places you're accessing the packing slip?

I still don't get the mentality with eBay counting all returns against sellers. I had a buyer open a SNAD against me today on an item that I shipped out the night before. Then a minute later closed it. That now is one more strike against my account that shouldn't be there. This doesn't just hurt the relationship between the seller and eBay. It also makes it so I am less inclined to give the buyer good treatment.
If eBay is that hard up on money just fabricate some phony uninvoiced charges to bill me for. Oh wait you already do that... Silly me.
Hi @gwzcomps - if you're referring to Service Metrics, we do count most opened requests regardless of outcome (with a few exceptions detailed below*). We've found that in general, buyers that need to open requests end up shopping less on the site regardless of outcome. Service Metrics are a way for you to be aware of your rate of return or not received requests as compared to your peers. Thanks!
*Your item won't be counted in your service metrics as a case filed or a transaction if:

brittanie@ebay That's funny since the email shows it was sent with no issues. I provided the ID, a link to the listings, item numbers and explanations. I can post the whole thing here, but I am guessing that would be a policy violation. (The user ID was under the link, but I figured I should censor that out.) I will just forward it to you in a minute.

Please get rid of the new All Selling page, we just went through this several weeks ago and yes, I used the Comments link NUMEROUS times to not only voice my displeasure but to also point everything it DOESN'T HAVE. Wasn't anybody listening? Did they even understand what is important to a Sellers? They are obviously clueless when it comes to page design simplicity which we had on the Classic My eBay Selling pages. Yep, I am pretty irritated and disgusted at this point ... here is what they were told before, here is what I posted here before and here is what never happened.
The Classic pages gave the most important information in about a 2" x 3" square in the left gutter of the page. here it is, shows number of Auctions and the number of bids and the total dollar amount for those and then it shows the total sales on the MONTH (NOT THE 31 DAY CYCLE!!!) The info in the following pic HAS to be on the first page ... I don't car if you leave all the other useless information there but put this info on the page.
Next, there are three tiles on the new page, none of it I use or need to see every time I just want to check eBay ... I KNOW where to find the dashboard and I KNOW where to find my monthly limits and I KNOW if I need to do anything. And PLEASE stop this fixation on a 31 day cycle! Seriously, Not a single vendor that we have or service company or bank account or credit card or any other business we know uses a 31 day ... so WHAT is the point? Half the months in the year don't even have 31 days.
So basically, this is the entire screen I see when I go to check my eBay and is is completely worthless.
Next, I sell a lot Auction style and this page has NO indication that any Auctions have bids ... then when you go to sort the Active list with Auctions first it doesn't even put the ones with bids at the top LIKE THE CLASSIC PAGES DID! An oh, I pointed out you are not being kind to red-green color blind individuals ... starting prices are red and bid prices are green AND THEY AREN'T EVEN IN BOLD TEXT! So I currently have 4 items with bids so this page layout means I have to scroll and scroll and scroll to even find which ones they are.
Then in the lower right hand corner I might want to see MORE than 25 per page BUT the programmers fouled up the pull down menu, YOU CAN'T READ THE NUMBERS. And the last time around it would NOT stay on the quantity I selected so each time I went to the page I had
There is also NO link to The Community ... this has got to be some of the poorest page designing I've ever seen and I am becoming convinced that eBay is intentionally hiding information from Sellers and making information hard to find ...sorry, but I just can't think of any GOOD reasons why something like this could be done.
Truly unhappy,
Mr. L

I sell products that are subject to FDA regulations and I do have this disclaimer in all my listings.
I sold an x-ray last night, but I can't ship it until the doctor furnishes his radiation registration number for us to complete the FDA 2579 form and the EPE paperwork (equipment performance evaluation).
I contacted the doctor via email this morning, but didn't receive a response.
I then called the office and they told me they would call me back in an hour with the information, but never did. I called again and left a message, but still no response.
I am suppose to ship today since they made the purchase last night, but I can't due to the buyer not responding.
Do I just cancel the sale due to bad address since I can't ship to his address without this information.
I am now out of time to get everything done and still ship today.
We don't do anything until we have this information. We've wasted time in the past doing it before hand and the customer didn't have the proper paperwork and was not authorized to purchase.
Just a curiosity question for me. Why wouldn't you have all this info in order before listing the item? And how would you lack of having the proper paperwork result in cancelling due to a buyer issue? I'm not trying to be snotty with you or be disrespectful, simply curious.

What happened within the last 2 weeks with no sales? Did eBay make another crazy change that has everything goofed up AGAIN?
My sales dropped down to $6.68 in the last 7 days. I am not the only one as others have been on the boards with the same results. NO SALES.
If sales don't pick up within the next 7 days, I will start closing out my listings as they expire.
There has been no announcement made by eBay about technical issues or anything. If you want to get rid of sellers, just say so, so we can all move to another platform to sell.
I am very disgusted with how sales just keep going down and down.
Hi @greg213213 - sorry to hear that your sales haven't been where you'd like them lately! There isn't any announced issue that would impact your sales administratively, though it never hurts to contact CS and have them review your account for any opportunities you may have to help increase your visibility!

@my-cottage-books-and-antiques I'm not familiar with any recent announcements about new store design options (and thus not aware of any updates). Do you have a link to an announcement or page that gives more context on this so I can take a closer look? Thanks!

Buyers would open less requests if you didn't structure your messaging system to open them automatically. Also it is load of 💩 that a SNAD counts against me that a buyer opens and closes a minute later. Furthermore buyers are more likely to shop less on eBay because the site itself is trash than returns. I know I go out of my way to shop elsewhere when it comes to items that are frequently counterfeit or just drop shipped from another site.
The logic is so flawed because I am guessing the majority of the policy makers have never had a real job let alone sold on the site for a living.

How can I have this information before hand???
It's the doctors information that needs to be provided.............his radiation registration number showing he is registered with the state and authorized to purchase.

Well, ALL other pathways. I get a "sold" notice in my email, I get a "Sold" notice in my Notification "Bell" at the top of the ebay page, I go to Orders and the dropdown for "purchase label"....all of these clicks present me with an option to print a packing Slip, but it is the old Packing Slip, not the new one. And, I think there are one or two more ways to access a packing slip. My point is, if I go to print a packing slip, the format of the packing slip should be the same (the new format) at every spot.

Perhaps if you said it is the doctor's/buyers info that you need, it would be clearer to Mam.

Have you ever noticed that there is not a search bar on every eBay page? For example:
There is not search bar if you are on the help pages. Look for help for something and you can't get back to search.
And go to the community boards and then you can't search for something.
Shouldn't it be easier to search for something to buy from every page on eBay?
Is it like this because they are on different platforms or something?
Also, when I print labels using eBay shipping, I cannot go back to my seller hub. The page I get just has an eBay logo that I click on which takes me to what I assume is the eBay home page. On the search pages and the top of many eBay pages I have what looks to me to be a toolbar that has My eBay, sell, watchlist, daily deals, help and contact.
What I would love to see is that same "toolbar" on all pages, including community pages and help pages.
Thank you

The seller needs the buyer's info. It is a FDA controlled item so to legally sell it the buyer has to prove they can legally buy it. It has been a problem with eBay for years now with medical equipment. I don't know why eBay doesn't work on it since medical equipment is big money. I kinda wonder what a specialty site like DotMed does. If eBay was smart they would build a system to allow the medical professionals to pre-supply their credentials needed.
