I find receiving offers from sellers immediately after I place an item in my cart or add to my watch list quite annoying.
If I place an item in my cart that means I find the price reasonable and I am willing to pay that asking price.
I may hold an item in my cart or move it to the save for later option at check out for a variety of reasons including waiting for funds to clear into my account or waiting for a complementary piece to arrive to make sure the items will work together or waiting for a family member to confirm that item is indeed what they want. A few items, such as shipping supplies, are always in my cart or save for later for ease of re-ordering.
To my mind, receiving a lower price offer from the seller gives the appearance the seller knows the item is overpriced, the item is not worth the original asking price or the seller is desperate for money.
We are all here to sell and / or buy and I understand that some people may enjoy seeing how many offers they get or how low the seller is willing to go.
I am not that type of person and I would prefer not to receive these type of messages from sellers. So, can I block just these type of messages now or will I be able to in the near future?

Hi @b86fiero, thank you for the comment. In the feedback we've received from sellers, the primary thing they enjoy the most is engaging with their potential buyers. With that being said, you do have the ability to block these types of offers from sellers. To stop receiving emails, you need to go into your marketing email preferences and opt out as well as in the app you would need to disable the offers notifications. You can easily change this preferences down the road should you want to receive offers again.
Thanks for buying on eBay!
