Customers usually win a snad complaint, unless you have solid proof the item in question is authentic.

Unfortunately some types of proof
(credible evidence) may be deemed Not acceptable for submission to overcome a buyer allegation.

Starting in june. Buyers can return an item for any reason and the seller is liable for shipping both directions. No disputes. Get ready as sellers we have been had.

Paul, Do you have a link for this information? It is usually just SNAD that the seller has to pay for returns.

That's only if the seller still wants the TRS+ discounts and exposure. They are not forcing everyone into it - yet.

All a buyer has to do is open a not as described. Wheather it is or not. You can say in your listings that there is scratches in the item and even have close up's of it. If the buyer opens a case as not as described and says it has scratches eBay will make you take the return and pay for the shipping both ways. Even if you do not accept returns.

Please read the seller updates from eBay. You will see. In june if you want to keep your top rated seller, badge and top rated discount you will have to accept returns for any reason and pay for the shipping both ways. Also no more restocking fees to cover the shipping.

I stand corrected. It is not for all categories. So it is important that you read the seller updates to see if you are effected. I tried to post the link but it won't let me.

@pauls-partsDid you read the update yourself? It looks like you didn't. Please don't post false information. Top rated sellers do not have to accept returns and that is NOT changing in June. In order to qualify for the TRS-PLUS badge & qualify for the 10% FVF dicount, the listing must offer 30 day free returns. The changes you are talking about are for top rated PLUS not top rated.

This is what it says at the top of the returns page:
Top Rated sellers will be required to offer 30-day free returns to be eligible to receive the Top Rated Plus discount and badge.
It does not say Top Rated Plus only.

Re-read what you quoted. It does say top rated plus. It says that in order to get the badge and the discount you have to offer 30 day free returns. It does not say you have to accept returns/free returns in order to be a top rated seller. Top rated sellers are not required to accept returns and come June they still won’t be required to accept returns. In order to qualify for the TRS PLUS badge and get the discount, they have to offer free returns. Top rated sellers who do NOT want the discount and the badge can keep their no returns policy and they will STILL be top rated sellers. Listings qualify for TRS-plus, sellers do not.
