issues creating shipping label usps-ebay. says having issues come back later. Anyone else

hoping there is an explanation for difficulty creating shipping label for usps thru ebay.

Does anyone know whats happening

I just got the same notice, but my label seemed to print just fine.

There are many reasons this can happen. When you get a really generic error message like that it's impossible to say what the problem is without more info, but things to check as a first step:

- Check if there's an issue with the buyer's address.

- Check package weight and dimensions are compatible with the service selected.

Ah, that's another possibility. Label generates but seller doesn't know because system spits out an error message.

In that case @dhew3913 , check this page to see if it shows the label was successfully generated. If it did then you can use the "reprint" option.

I can confirm that I just saw the same notice a little while ago. The labels printed just fine and were scanned in at the PO without issue.

Will not be printing a label til Mon..........  but

I saw that error message this morning on the bulk shipping page and I just checked and it's still there. I was still able to print a label I needed this morning.

Hey @dhbookds! I just checked to see if there is a ticket open for this and there is one open. If any seller is running into this they can reach out to customer support and let them know that they are experiencing ALERT15047

I'm sure they are getting plenty of calls from sellers who think they can't print labels.  It is Mon.......too bad the message couldn't have been killed earlier, but guess Ebay just couldn't react fast enough.......

It's Monday 10/30 and I'm having the same problem.  I did attempt to print a label and it said it was unable to generate one.  I know several people were saying they still printed for them.  Hoping this is resolved soon so I don't have to give them a call - don't want to lose the ebay shipping discount and don't want to miss the shipping deadline either!
