Are you asking how to charge the buyer for insurance? If yes, the answer is to add a handling cost or increase your item price before listing the item.
Are you asking how to purchase insurance when you buy your shipping label? If yes, as mentioned above, most services include up to $100 insurance, but if you need coverage beyond that you can add it on the label purchase page.
If you are on the simplified version of the label page you'll have to click the link on the top right to show additional / advanced options so you can access insurance.
Read the fine print carefully as some insurance services don't cover all products (coins, high value jewelry, etc). Hope that helps @buick32 .

You can buy insurance when you create the label for yourself, but you are not allowed to charge the buyer for it. Next time build the insurance coat into the shipping and handling amount or the cost of the item.

Well, understand that many types of shipment already include insurance at no extra charge. And judging by the value of the items you are selling all of those policies are quite sufficient monetarily.
