eBay not recognizing "Delivered to Agent for Final Delivery" as delivered.

In many places such as apartment buildings with concierge/doorman, townhouse complexes with a management office, freight forwarders, buildings with mailrooms, etc USPS will deliver to the building's mail "agent" and this has always registered a "delivered" status on the eBay orders page.

That is it used to until about 2-1/2 months ago. Now those orders are stuck as "shipped" as the system is not recognizing that packages were delivered. When you click the tracking pop-up it's stuck at "it's on its way to the buyer" and "was scheduled" for delivery on X date.

I've reported the issue multiple times, but I'm wondering if others here are seeing the same problem?

Hey devon@ebay - can you get the shipping and/or seller hub teams working on this? If you need order numbers or screenshots to reference I can send an e-mail.

I have the same exact issue!  The buyer now opened a claim saying it wasnt delivered.  The post office insists it was delivered to an Agent.  The ebay system is broken and doesnt show it being delivered, even though it was delivered to the mail room or doorman in the building.

We are also having the same issue. We ship often to various forwarders and it seems like the "Delivered to Agent for Final Delivery" is a new thing ? These packages are delivered but the tracking never seems to show delivered. We believe there are some not totally honest buyers who know there is an issue and they can file INR cases.

My funds are also on hold due to the "Delivered to Agent for Final Delivery".  The phone I sold was shipped to NEWARK DE, like several of the other sellers here.  I have looked up the address and it comes back to Weme E-Commerce Solution LLC a wholesaler.  What is being done about this.  Contact me for more information.

So much for this being resolved, the stories keep coming!  I would be rippin hell cats if my money got snatched for such a stupid thing, especially AFTER it was supposedly fixed.  And again, just think of all the sellers this is happening to that don't write about it here in the forums.

I have the same issue 9410808205497557951366. Tracking says, Delivered to agent for final delivery. But I have a proof of delivery letter from USPS. Please update the status as delivered.

What angers me the most is that before this term became as ubiquitous as it is now, I was forced to give a $80 refund to a buyer who purchased through a forwarder being forwarded to Korea. The fact that I gave away my hard earned money and this f’ing company was more than happy to force me to do so when the item was obviously delivered doesn’t sit well with me.

I don't understand @1tuna. It's either:

Delivered to agent for final delivery

OR

Awaiting pickup

It can't be both. If it was delivered to agent then see post 85 above. You're covered, and if the buyer files a claim and you need to involve CS you can send them a link to that post.

eBay closed my case I posted about last week in my favor over the weekend. Just got a notification via appeals team that they decided to reverse it and went in favor of the buyer. Lost the item and the money over this SCAM!

Im also dealing with this issue. My package shows as it delivered to an agent via usps and now i’m stuck trying to get in touch with the buyer without any response back. The tracking # is 9461208205497571114947

May I ask, when you say you're trying to get in touch with the buyer, you mean you decided to proactively reach out and see if they understand what the scan term means?  I'm usually pretty pro-proactiveness with buyers, but regarding this issue I would not advise it.  Their freight forwarder has likely already provided them with tracking for the remaining leg(s) of the package's journey.  Your acknowledgement that it doesn't look like you did your job might just give them the idea to try claiming INR on you.  And as of just 2 days ago (scroll up, see y2littlek's reply) it appears that trying may result in succeeding, despite this problem supposedly being fixed.
