USPS tracking not syncing

Hello!  I have two orders that I noticed the USPS tracking is not syncing in the order history.  I shipped USPS Ground Advantage through eBay labels, and the tracking number is populated correctly, but the history does not show the package received, history of movement, and/or delivery.  The tracking number link to the USPS site shows the history, but eBay does not.  Is there a way to upload a screenshot to show the item was delivered to the order?  Also, how do I report this to eBay to prevent a defect for item not shipped/delivered?  I have not been able to find a way to make contact with an agent, only through the automated system.  Thank you!

Same, last couple days. Some labels have been updated and others shipped the same day have no scans updated, though they have had many scans shown on USPS website. May be a glitch??

Go to: https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:PAID_SHIPPED

Click on the tracking number to be taken to the carrier's website. Look for the link to enter your email address to be sent updated tracking information. That should lead the carrier to updating the tracking information to ebay.

Same issue for me.  The common denominator is that most of these tracking updates not getting over to ebay are for labels created on October 20th.  What happened on October 20th that effected about 1/3 of all US internet use?  Amazon Web Services crashed.  Does ebay use Amazon Web Services for any part of their shipping systems?  Yes, in fact on Monday morning there was a red warning message on the ebay page where you print your USPS shipping labels.  

 

When I spoke to ebay customer service today they clearly agreed that I, the seller, did nothing wrong.  They blamed USPS.  But, fact of the matter, USPS does not use Amazon Web Services as proven by the availability of tracking information on USPS.com.

Same for me. All were on the 20th and only show label created. A couple were already delivered and still only show label created and no carrier scan.

Thanks for starting the topic OP.  I have the same problem and it's always nice to know that I'm not the only one.  Mine are also on the 20th.

Same Problem here.  Tried to get it fixed through customer service chat and that was a waste of time.

I have also encountered the same issue with three labels that were created on the 20th. The tracking updated on USPS, but never updated on ebay’s end. I have called ebay & spoken with an agent twice in the last couple of days & have received no resolution. My shipping/tracking metric was at 100% & has dropped to 96.34% because of this “glitch”. An appeal has been filed to return the metric to 100%, and I was told to wait 48-72 hours for that to process. I do not understand why this is being handled this way when the issue is with ebay & not me as the seller. Is there nothing ebay can do on their end to verify that I shipped on time & update the tracking to sync with USPS? ??? I just don’t understand why it has to be so clunky to try to reach a resolution. In the meantime, I’m hoping the metric doesn’t fall anymore so as to drop my top rated seller status.

When I spoke to eBay customer support, it was very difficult to get a direct answer, even for them to confirm that it was a known issue, which they eventually did when I brought up the pinned post in this forum. I was then told that the fix is not expected to be completed until November 13th. I am not quick to criticize, as I understand issues can happen, but the lack of transparency and no sense of urgency to fix the issue is concerning.  Those unaffected by this will just tell you to wait and dismiss your concerns, and they should be ignored. eBay emphasizes the importance of shipping metrics and will penalize a seller (rightly) who does not ship in a professional manner, but when the eBay system causes a drop in those same metrics, they do not prioritize remedying the situation. If I am wrong on that, they could communicate with those impacted and provide a timely fix.

Thank you for your follow up and for calling eBay Customer Support.  I just checked the orders I was having an issue with and the full tracking history is populated and the orders now show delivered.  I really appreciate everyone's replies, comments, updates and for the calls to report the problem!!  It looks like the issue has been resolved.

Yall check now.  Mine is synced, and this was without me ever contacting them for help. 
I still have the strikes in my Seller Performance but I'm sure that will be the next phase of fixing.
